Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire, whose most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the nape of his neck, and his only name.
The hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover. Both Interpol and the Russian military chase the Hitman across Eastern Europe as he tries to find out who set him up and why they're trying to take him out of the game. But the greatest threat to 47's survival may be the stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a beautiful, damaged girl...
personally i feel that this movie will be the stereotypical assassin movie where assassin falls in love with girl and girl ends up setting him up but i could be wrong I'm a fan of the hitman series I just hope the movie does the series justice.

Sooner or later you'll see other video game movies..."Half-life two the movie" and "Halo the movie" and they'll all be on a low-budget...like other movies based on video games
I mean really >_< they made Final "fantasy the movie" and "Doom" and "Silent hill" and...and...I don't knooow! TT__TT
But this one doesn't look like it might be on a low-budget >_>

Im a big Hitman fan, and the movie sounds interesting.....
I have some doubts about this movie. The summary has a "james bond" feel to it imo so im probably not gonna expect much.
As for the actor (timothy olyphant), he seems a bit too young compared to the character in the game.
Lastly, they ruined the ballers....

I'm kinda pissed. Timothy Olyphant is gonna take a crack at playing Agent 47? That sucks, Theres a much better actor out there. (No, not Vin Diesle)I wonder who the hell is doing casting for this. I'd say Jason Statham would be a much better choice. Timothy Olyphant isn't even bald.
