How can I possibly abandon my lazy western lifestyle?

and become a true revolutionary?
Until the day I die i'll be a communist, that will never ever change.
I'm disgusted with myself living literally off the government, lazy never worked a day in my life.
The reason i'm a communist? I look at some rich mother f**** eating cargo, and then I look across the street at a homeless man holding a sign saying vietnam vet....it just seems wrong to me.
Our current system and the way it raises children is wrong.
What would I give to see the people's republic of Canada, anything...
These are all my personal opinions, however I value other peoples opinions, no trolling please give your opinions honestly and openly about this.
If it offends anybody I am sorry for sharing, I just really wish to know what capitalists think on the subject.
May we please be polite and respectful to each other in this question?

I would love to see this go to IB.
OT: Although I agree things are perfect here in the "west", I don't think going full communist is going to be a good idea. Personally I don't want the state to have that much power, but that isn't real communism I guess.

Some countries are better off using communism, like my mother land Indonesia.
But, I can't see America with communism in place.

As a capitalist, I don't like it (capitalism), I think its incredibly flawed, Its gives those in power the ability to maintain that power and suppress others from gaining. example: (I think it was in Fast Food Nation) the vicious cycle of trapping farmers in debt to companies so that they can never make a profit or escape there employment. There's also how companies make profits out of prison labor, privatizing prisons (even worse, under conditions that, the prisons, stay over 90% full), prisoners paid far less than minimum wage (I think I heard, but don't quote me on it) $1.00-$2.00.
I know very little about communism, somethings I do like, but from what I do know I would not like everything out of it. I could not accept a life as a communist.
Unfortunately I have very few ideas of what kind of system I would live under, but nothing i could go and make a complete and functional system out of. Just stuff like, ridding government of lobbyist and religion. Universal health care. A less "war starved" stance. (Since we may lose it) regulations kept. (Since we may lose it) educational systems kept and increased/supported/cared for. (Since were already losing it) scientific institutions such as NASA. (Since leaving capitalism to its own devices (greed), contributed so much to the financial collapse which contributed to the debt so much) some sort of government regulation on Wall Street (I remember at some point in my economics class we were taught that the founders of our system thought it was bad for Government to interfere for some reason, I don't remember what it was. If anyone else knows I would like to hear it.)
Also I think this would be better suited for SD as it is a rather serious discussion, but random is fine too.

Move to a third-world country with personal luggage like clothes and belongings and have a budget of 100$ a month and document it by video, day by day.

As a capitalist, I don't mind communistic country's, But I never want to see America go down that path of communism.
I find that depending on the govt for everything is very foolish, or having the govt in-charge of everything is preposterous.
I think communism is a flawed system in general.

Here we go again...
To be honest most of the recent systems(capitalism, communism, and so on) are flawed and I'm just waiting for a new system to appear since it is evident that full on capitalism has its risk, which is evident in the number of financial panics/crises in the U.S.
If you really want something to change then put forth the effort to aid those who are in need rather than complaining about it on a hentai website. Complaining on your computer/labtop never solves anything. You can also move to countries that accept full on communism and see if that works, which I doubt.

Which will be soon enough. Probably in twenty, thirty years, when countries will try in a last desperate attempt of getting out of debt, to sell islands or small pieces of their sovereign territory to private megacorporations, which will create new independent states.
That's my hypothesis any way.

I think you're thinking of a bureaucracy. More accurate depiction of communist societies would be like...the Amish.
But yeah, or economy is too globalized for it to ever reach true communist.

Learn more about the history of our country, boy. During the time when PKI amassed their influence, we took quite an astounding number of inflation (due to the construction of Monas and Gelora Bung Karno). I mean, what kind of sane country, that just declared its independence less than 20 years ago after 350 years of colonization and got all its economical structure in all kinds of mess, would build a monumental tower with 50 kg of real gold coating on its top? Also, what is the point of building a sport stadium with more than 100,000 people capacity when we can't even feed our people properly?
Also, I do think our economical ideology is wrong. Actually, I do think the principal of Ekonomi Pancasila is the still the best choice for our country, given that the government has correct application of it and also no less important, complete observation to its implementation, down to Kelurahan level if needed. Utilize the existence of Koperasi to its full extent, as it really helps those with average or poor economical condition.
Heh, seems like you need to go back to your home country and see whatever the fuck is happening here.

Last time I was there everything was fucked up, from the bureaucracy to the city and everything, made an oath to myself won't be coming there for at least 3 years unless something big really came up.
I don't care what method is used, doesn't matter if it's Communism or your method, as long as our country change into the better, because what I saw was not a country, it was worse than a pile of rubbish.

It's the problem of human quality. Not intelligent level, as many of our leaders are pretty much intelligent people. The problem is that most of them are morally idiotic and the implementation of Pancasila and National Basic Statutes 1945 is not being done correctly.
TL;DR, it's not the problem of the system, the problem is those who run the system.
And I'm actually being a total hypocrite for saying all these, as I am not a real example of a role model citizen.

Well, the new Vice Governor of Jakarta once said:
"If you wanna see a person's true character, give them power".
I see that most of the Indonesian government are only a bunch of assholes who only care about themselves.

Ah, that Jokowi-Basuki pair. I have this feeling that those two, especially Jokowi, can lead this country to a better way. I've never seen in my entire life, a mayor of a city, is willing to dirty his hand by directly monitoring the construction of public service and such. Also, do you ever see a leader of a city so loved by his people to the point that when he was elected as the new governor of Jakarta, the people of his previous city would weep because they lost such a magnificent leader?

Ya, him.
I have more faith in Basuki, in good cop bad cop play, Basuki would be the bad cop, but he is smart.
Nope, never seen one before. Foke was rubbish, and Sutiyoso was even worse, so I hope there would be actually some changes happening in Jakarta.

Ah ha ha ha. You could say that Basuki is in charge of Intelligence Division and Jokowi is in charge of General Overseering Division. Just like SBY and Jusuf Kalla in his first period of presidency. Too bad they have to separate in the next election.

If (wow I am totally blanking on his name...) Romney becomes president, he will fulfill his puppet roll of privatizing every aspect of government and and crippling it from recovering for years to come. I'm fairly certain people will not be content playing OWS anymore. I'm betting it all on a repeat of the french revolution.
That or well become too power hungry with our "invasions" that we piss off 1 too many people and give reason to our allies to abandon us. I would think, that China won't attack America because there better off with us in debt to them, but if it seems like we can't ever pay it back to them (such as more wars depleting our resources on something that gives us nothing in return) I would think they'd intervene.
