How do you write? (Handwriting)
0
For those of us who still enjoy taking pen to paper, how do you write?
Do you use simple, yet unattractive print script?
Do you take your time and use elegant, but confusing cursive?
Do you just not give a fuck and use crayon?
As you can tell from the picture, I use cursive.
So, for the sake of discussion, why did you choose to write with the style you do?

Print more often than not, if it's something longer a mix of cursive and print. But frankly, I usually type.

I write in a horrible, illegible chicken-scratch. Like doctors' handwriting, except even pharmacists can't read my shit. If I make an effort, I can make it pretty, but I usually don't care enough.

My writing is pure chicken scratch. Every time I write something, they have to dispatch a team of linguists to figure out what I wrote.

I cannot write very well. I haven't written anything in a really long while. so whenever I write something not even I would be able to read it.

I print. My style of writing changes everyday. If you were to look at my notes, you'll notice that they are different, very different. It's as if someone else wrote it for me.

It's a strange mix of Cursive and rough print.
If I'm writing something- people say it looks like Elvish.
If I'm in a hurry and I just need to jot some notes very quickly- it's, well- weird kinda.
Anyways, an example.

With my left hand.Oddly enough, my left hand handwriting is more legible than my usual right hand one. Also, my handwriting in Russian is downright pretty, but in English and Japanese, it's horrid.

[font=segoe print bold]1: grab pen/pencil/crayon etc...
2: point it at paper
3: start writing
4: PROFIT !?
It's really not that hard.
But jokes aside. I want to keep my wrighting as clean as possible while being quick with it, since where I work, I'm required to document my progress, but I don't have too much time to do it.

Righthanded, noncursive. My script is, I think, reasonably legible, unless I really rush it. Generally speaking, my letters tend to be small and rounded, with long hooked tails on my 'p's, 'q's, 'g's, 'j's, and 'f's. In addition, 4 years of Greek in high school has led me to making my terminal 's's like terminal sigmas, ie, like a 'c' with a long looping tail. I also cross my '7's and put upper hooks on my 'c's. So, yeah, almost Elvish-looking, but with minimal cursive.

Here's an example:
As you might notice, I use a mixture of both cursive and noncursive but mostly noncursive and (at least for me) it's quite clear. If I'm in a hurry, my text will become a bit messier, more cursive and harder to read.
Why I write like this, I don't know. It just happens.
E: Oh right, and my 'v' and 'r' might look the same so it can confuse people. This did happen with 'h' and 'k' as well but not anymore.

Okay, I bite. What language is that? I'm going to take a stab and say Finnish.

Yeah, that's correct. A bit of discrete mathematics in Finnish.
