I actually don't care about hair length, but I do like it when I can brush the girls hair past her ear. There was also this one girl that had her hair hiding her face, I don't know why, but it was a huge turn on to brush her hair aside so I could get to her lips. Medium hair I guess is best, long is good too.

I like medium on a girl because its long enough to play with and short enough that she can do something with it. Plus, long hair can be a hassle. Girls with shor hair are also really cute, as long as its not shorter than mine.

Personally, I have a small confession... I have a fetish for really long hair, around the length of lower back to lower leg. Don't ask me why, as it would not be a fetish if I actually knew.
There was this one time when an Indian girl came to my computer class during my highschool years. Although I usually do not go for Indian girls, her hair blew me away. It was silky smooth all the way down to the knee. I found myself staring, but could not quite stop even after realizing. It was honestly quite embaressing and I remember wondering what would happen if I was caught by her and detesting myself for doing something that would be disturbing to another person. It didn't help the matter that she was also attractive, and quite kind if her conversation was anything to go by. It was this incident that made me realize my fetish for long hair, but as I am Canadian(Vancouverite. Olympics was awesome), there isn't many females here with the length I love... but I'm still looking!~

Although I have to say long hair is indeed difficult to take care of. I used to have hair down to around my lower back back when I was playing in a band, but I got it cut when we broke up, the hair just took too long to take care of.
Right now my hair is around ear-length, and I intend to grow it to shoulder length this year, but no longer.

call me sexist but i dont think short hair suits women at all, i dont mean like the 'bob' hairstyle i mean proper short ,back and chainsaw . cant stand it >.<

Length is not the issue for me I just want to be able to touch it. I hate men and women who are uptight about their hair being messed up. Also the overuse of products. I wanna run my fingers through it without being stabbed or having to immediatly go wash my hands cause there is some substance on it.

I dont really care, everyone looks good with different hair. But usually I'm into dreads :> People think they are dirty and moldy, but they arent if the guy takes good care of them. They just look good imo, but not on everyone ofcourse.

Very few guys can pull off long hair. When they can, it's nice, but most who have it honestly look like crap.
I like short to medium length hair on guys, personally, but hair isn't a deal-breaker for friendship/more.
And on women, anything goes. Though some styles frame certain face types better than others (same with guys, but it seems men tend to have simpler hairdos!).

I'm with gizgal on this. It really depends on the person. Some hairdos simply don't work on certain people depending on a lot of physical factors. So, it isn't really fair to say that I have a preference for length when it depends mostly on who wears it.
As for the guys with long hair, also have to agree with that. Very, very few guys pull that off. I know I tried, and failed utterly. Unfortunately, my hair has an oil problem. When my hair was long it always looked greasy despite how recently it had been washed. I never cared about my appearance in high school. It took embarrassment from one of my close friends blurting out in class how annoying it was that I always looked so dirty because my hair always looked greasy before I decided to cut it short, and keep it short.
Which works to my favor anyway, male pattern baldness runs early in my family. In fact I'm already running into it at twenty-three, so I might as well get used to cutting my hair really short or just shaving the whole thing off. <.
