How much luck do you have in luck/chance draws?

I'm talking about stuff like collecting items that have a potential chance of you getting a rare thing or a raffle or anything similar. Yep, stuff like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards for example. I remember at least opening a good 10 booster packs for Pokemon and always getting crap cards and tons of repeats. Never did I get anything out of them. Then I get a Digimon one and get a Piedmon holographic card, being a big fan of the villain himself, I felt lucky for once. Buying simple YGO booster packs never helped, I always got lame stuff like always. Until I bought one of those tin boxes that have about 10-15 packs and lucky enough to get one from the Legend of Blue-Eyes booster, I ended up getting a Blue-Eyes White Dragon out of it. So how about you guys? It can be anything, not just these card games.
