I once had a series of eight dreams that formed a story arc, I remember them vividly. I might have read something similar sometime in the distant past and don't remember reading it. A fantasy setting where I was of course a BAMF veteran of that world's Crusades, who had come home and become a shepherd up in the foothills. I killed a dragon raiding my flock, won the respect (and fear) of the local orc tribe, civilized a minotaur, and taught a giant how to play checkers.

Yes I do have epic dreams, too many to tell! If I had to pick a favorite adventure dream It would be about a year ago. Its a tl;dr about my waifu but seems like some kind of fanfic, but interesting nonetheless..

I was visiting london and by chance my waifu was there, Tsumugi Kotobuki from k-on. I was shocked, I just saw her get kidnaped by some london gangsters while shes on vacation. Im guessing because her dads loaded she got knabbed, any way I pursued them, retrieved Mugi, then went on a date with her. In my dream i had this epic treehouse that looked like something from the Jungle Book/Tarzan, I took Mugi there and we cuddled and played video games under a warm blanket. The game in my dream was some kind of Tetis knockoff, Mugi kicked ass at it though, a really uncanny skill for puzzle games. We also played Donkey Kong Country 2. I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes! I was so happy until I woke up... but hey the way I see it is atleast I can actually vouch for hanging out with my waifu unlike some people.

My dreams for the past few weeks have been really vivid and lifelike.
They seem to be based in reality, and they seem sort of like alternate versions of my life playing out.
They're first person and I can actually think to myself, feel myself laugh and experience emotion, it's insane. I remember almost all of them.

It might be due to the horrible stress I've been under this year, but either way it's a nice escape from the world.

Well I had a dream where a bunch of crazy people attacked me but I got away in the end. (Forgot most.of it)

Although your subconscious seems to be in good condition, trying to keep your stress levels down. I think stress or not, your psyche seems to be in decent condition.

Not really, most of the dreams I do have end up as horror stories of personal significance. There have been very few times I had an Adventurous Time with my dreams as the topic usually is not the same the whole night that I have a dream.

But then again I do not dream that much. The closest to this would be going on a quest to retrieve some thing or another and...something. Dreams don't have logic.

I love to dream of adventure but I rarely do :(

I mostly dream about adventures with my family and friends. I had dream about saving them from the apocalypse, saving them from ghosts, snakes, flood, etc.

Other than that, well, i dream of sexual stuff. Too much hentai i guess.

The most action packed dream I've had was a while ago. This like demonic killer clown on a unicycle was decapitating people I knew. It was coming after me and I had to dodge blades it was throwing at me. It eventually hit me a couple times in the back and started to slice through my neck with a saw. It was pretty terrifying.

sometimes if I get into something really hard core, like a game, or a book, or even chatting about certain topics with my friends. I tend to end up having some dream that has to do with it. usually there is some random twist and it takes a completely random turn afterwords though.

I once dreamed I was fighting someone, and I got mad and went super saiyan, now if that ain't the most crazy dream ever idk haha. the worst, is when you are having a good dream, but then you wake up, no matter how many times you try to pretend you are still asleep, it Never. fucking. works.

Last dream I remember was a sex dream a few nights ago but before that I was getting married and I was the one in the dress. The marriage one was at the start of the year, I think.

I very rarely remember my dreams. Most of the time I just close my eyes and pass out after 10-20 minutes and when I wake up, time's gone forward a few hours.

Most of my dreams are battles from military campaigns in history. They are scaringly accurate in terms of landscape, outcome and so forth(I visited Dien Bien Phu and it looked exactly like the battle that went on in my dream prior to having ever visited)

So my top three dream battles would have to be:

1. Stalingrad
2. Hamburger Hill
3. Iwo Jima

This one time, I was in an M18 hellcat racing down road trying to shoot a fucking dragon chasing me down a ravine. well after a couple of shots the dragon (cause in my dreams dragons are capable of coherent though) figured out I can't really aim my gun that high. He climbed higher but was unable to keep up with me when gained the altitude.

Obviously my hellcat wasn't manned by one person, but being a dream i can't say much other than 3 other obligatory middle age (closer to 18 years old) men were in the same boat. we had some princess because prior to this we decided to be a dick and rescue the princess the american way. Turns out a flying dragon is hard to hit when you don't have a free traversing gun.

Princess meanwhile was still bound and gaged in the middle of the hellcat, conveniently held by obligatory person #1 (who wasn't doing anything important in the tank like loading the gun or driving) over where the tank commander was suppose to be. I was the gunner (because I like to aim guns more than load them). Now that those details back to the story.

The dragon soared up, trading it's speed for altitude and removing itself from my field of fire. Thinking we had gotten away, the hellcat suddenly sloped upward as we hit a hill and started climbing it, losing our speed in the process. The dragon quickly gained on us, still flying higher than I could aim the gun. Just as the dragon prepared to wing over and dive on us, a large black spot flew across the sun. A spitfire mk V swung in behind the dragon, pelting it from behind with 7.7mm and 20mm shells of varying type. The tracer and AP ammo of the small 7.7's simply bounced off the hardened scales, but the 20mm hispano's with high explosive munitions loaded proved to be effective. While the HEF-SAPI (High Explosive Fragmentation- Semi Armor Piercing Incendiary) shells were incapable of punching through the scales as well, the concussive force of the explosives was enough to jar the dragon into a typical hollywood roll and crash.

Now free from the dragons wrath (and it being 8:00AM when I have to get up for college classes) the dream abruptly ended. I have to say I was really looking forward to alone time with the princess...

As you can see my dreams are a bit more detailed than some.

I've had some weird ass Skyrim/Star Wars/Zombie apocalypse dreams before. Here's one: For some reason it was the draugr apocalypse, and as I'm getting ready to get overwhelmed but draugr a bunch of clone troopers dropped in around them and blasted them to pieces. The Dragonborn is also apparently a jedi as I then got into a gunship and headed back to Coruscant, where I had drinks with Yoda.

That didn't seriously happen in one dream.

My theory is too much food directly before sleeping. I was backpacking and went to sleep right after eating dinner.
