I Have NO clue what just happened...

i downloaded that 'Katawa Shoujo' game and picked the windows option. once it was finished, i downloaded it using the BitTorrent, once that was over, i tried to run it, but then it asked me what file i want to use to associate with it. i stupidly selected Adobe Reader which it recommended for me and now, i can barely access anything. i can't use Firefox, i can't use my video downloader, whenever i try to, it just says the words:

'Adobe Reader Could not find ''FreeYoutubeDownloader.exe'' because the file is not supported.' i am completely clueless on what to do about this. could anyone help me out?

Looks like you've managed to break the system default action associated with exe files. Read this article:
