I'm thinking of asking out this girl

Tomorrow's the last day of class. She sits next to me in art class. From talking to her for the past couple of weeks, She is majoring in philiosophy and wants to become a elementary school teacher. she is 19 I'm 22. Her favorite movie is Kill Bill. I like her but I don't know if she is seeing anybody and I am afraid of asking her out. I've been chickening out of asking her out for the past month.

what should I say (any pick up lines I should try)? Should I dress up nice (should I wear a cool looking long sleeve shirt or a skin tight shirt that shows of my athletically fit body)? maybe just see if she wants to hang out instead of asking her out?

Dont go overboard doing all that dressing up with flowers and shit, that type of agression might scare her off, just be straight up, she says her favorite movie is Kill Bill so you already know what type of movies she into, just ask her to the movies and out to eat, if thats to much for you at first make it a group thing and go from there.

Do what first said. Nowadays, trying to be fancy is more often than not a quickly way to crash and burn.
Just be chill or however you are around her usually.

Sadly you have to check for this first ^^" Don't ask immediately though, maybe after a few group outings or after you get to know her a little better. And go slow, rushing things in a relationship tends to lead to disaster.

I've only hanged out with her in class and have not met anybody in her social circle.

also by dressing nice I just mean a nice shirt and jacket instead of a hoodie and ripped jeans.

It seems it really is all or nothing tomorrow because tomorrow is the last day of class and chances are we won't be in the same class again.

You should of found out if she was dating anyone before the last day of your class.

Ask if she wants to hang out and get to know her better.

As you are running out of time you can definitely do what Tsujoi suggested and just hang out get kind of an extension, as it were. However if you don't feel like dancing around the subject for a while you should just be direct and ask if they are seeing anybody. Best advise I can give is just ask her if maybe she wants to watch a movie or go out for coffee sometime, keep it casual. Though organize a date asap like maybe see if she wants to hang out after class since tomorrows the last day or sometime during the weekend. ^_^

But yeah just ask if she would like to hang out sometime then worry about the dating stuff and what not later on >.< I say all this cause I tried asking girls out a bit during one year of community college -_- never got me anywhere so yeahhhhhhhhh best of luck!

Ok that's what I think I was planning on doing. I don't like coffee so maybe asking if she wants to go painting sometime with me (since we are in a painting class together).

Ah hell, I can drink coffee for one day.

Just be yourself, act casual and natural, and try get an opportunity to find out if she is currently dating someone. Whatever you do, just don't chicken out now.

Whatever you do dont use pickup lines!!!! Be yourself, be confident, seize the moment! I speak from experience when i say that in life youll regret not doing certain things more often than the things you actually did. GO FOR IT!!! Youve got nothing to lose! Dont over think it, just go for it without thinking. Over analyzing a situation makes you hesitant. Ask her out for cofee and if she isnt interested in more than a friendship oh well, atleast you know you made an effort and it wont haunt you later. I would also advise that you be straight forward, most women prefer confident men. Hope this helps.

How did this turned out? Anyways the problem is if you do reel one in you would need time and money, which many people dont have.

Girls flip out and obsess if a guy off-handedly shows they share interests.

My boyfriend went behind my back to find out the kind of bands I like, and then offhandedly mentioned them to me in passing. It worked. ;3 It's not about being impressive, it's about being relatable, creating a 'mesh'. You might not even have to ask her out just to get her, it could be as easy as making enough of an impression that she wants to sustain contact with you.

I was about to ask her out but then she came walking down the hall holding this guys hand and they kissed. so yeah like every other girl I have liked she has a boyfriend.

The thing that gets me mad is that the guy looked totally like a loser, idiot, punk, skateboarder guy. I'm just saying stuff based off of first impressions though. Who knows? he might be a really nice intelligent person.

I don't understand, she seemed liked she liked me. She would always greet me at the start of class, she would make an effort to sit next to me and talk to me. She also seemed amused when I said her paintings reminded me of fauvism or Cezanne's work. Maybe it's all in my head.

Either way I can't get depressed about it, I just got to keep painting, drawing comics and be myself and hopefully I'll meet the right girl.

Much sorries to hear how that went :( I swear I have the exact same damn luck haha but as you said don't let it get you down. I'm sure there's a lot of people you'll meet in your classes and what not. I've met some pretty nice people in my college classes as well but to find out that yeah they also have boyfriends so it's like gah! But more friends at the college I just transferred to is what I need anyways. >_>
