Such a bad show... I tried to watch it and I just couldn't laugh. How is this on the air? He is not funny at all. He sounds as if hes reading off of notecards and his 'skits' are not humorous at all... I mean the laughter has to be fake because I can't see people laughing at his jokes... Does anyone else agree with me? Important Things With Demetri Martin in a huge flop?

It's kind of a mix for me. There are some funny things and some painfully unfunny things. That's the way I am with Demetri Martin himself, actually. I loved his first Comedy Central show, but his second one (Person, or whatever it was called) got on my nerves, though some of it was good.

I'm with Shaggy. I love his stand up, but his show is hit or miss. There is some really funny stuff, but it's often like trying to pan for gold. The episode about chairs I enjoyed, the one about brains not so much.

I'm not necessarily a fan, but he can be funny from time to time and there are much worse things on television.
