In your own answer.. What is the real purpose in life??

Well technically speaking...help in the continuation of our species.
However, I like to go with the saying "We all create our own purpose in life."

There's no real purpose in life. Just do what you want to do while trying to survive this world. I hope things get better for you. Cheer up! :)

Spoiler:
...if there is one thing I noticed, is that I tend to think about life and its meaning when I'm feeling down or worried about some recurring, seemingly unsolvable problem and from what I could conclude, apart from what purpose you give, apparently life has none.
So, clear the bad thoughts of your mind, "cheer up", "live life to the fullest" and do the things that give you joy. By doing these, then, just maybe you'll find something to live for and feel accomplished when looking back... that's what I'd do anyway.

Technically the main purpose of life from what I can tell is to breed and create more youze, Unleash your filthy seed onto the World! (It may not make you happy but Lions approve of it so they cant be totally wrong)
As for the whole im useless thing just watch NGE, Maybe its not as bad as it seems. :D
Ive got a shit job that I dont necessarily mind doing, Ive always been part of the mob and gone with the flow, Im not stupid if I dont drink alcohol and think about what im gonna say before saying it, Im not a klutz but im shy as hell, (Im just not built to be Mr.Popular) And as for Job Interviews I dont bother trying to 'improve' myself anymore. (Ive had a ton of shit jobs that I absolutely dreaded going to and im reasonably content with this piece of shit ive got now)
The only thing im regretfull about is that I dont have a girlfriend but then again I dont really feel the need to get one... Ive never met a girl who I thought "Wow shes really nice" I seem to be stuck in a void filled with unappealing women, My standards arnt too high it just feels like theres absolutely fuck all out there. (If you want a one night stand then its all good but I HATE doing that)
Its sad but I dont feel confident in myself to go out into the World and 'make an effort' besides I really dont think that ive got the tolerance level to be responsible. (I dont mind myself being a fuck up but if I had someone else to take care of then id want to go about it very seriously and not be a lazy shit, Ive seen so many of my friends just fucking around acting the fool and that makes me angry) Even though im an old man im immature, Hopefully i'll mellow out with age and meet someone I totally dont want in the future (Old woman) then we can fake being happy together just like how normal people do it (My uncle, Watching him with his fancy ladys like a bad joke of a future shock, If that happens to me I think i'll cry) but untill then i'll be this sorry broken shell of a man afraid to show his true feelings. (I feel that my aggression and drive has been totally crushed out of me since a young age)
But im content... I'll be alright! (Im sure i'll be alright) O__O

I like to think that life's about bringing happiness to yourself and the ones you care about.

In my own answer:
There is no meaning to life: absolutely none.
As a self-conscious species, we have a craving for purpose on a subconscious level. We rationalize and speculate, theorize and dream.
However, if you look at life on even the simplest level you'll find your answer.
What does a cell do? Well, it splits, multiplies into two- four- eight. . . eventually the original cell dies. Granted it's easily forgotten in the sea of surrounding cells.
What does a fish do? Fucks other fish. Lays eggs, causing a sudden increase in the number of local fish, and the original two die.
Birds, Gazelle, Rats, Humans- our entire point (ultimately) is to continue the survival of our species and die off to make room and food for others. The cycle that is meant to go on for as long as possible.
However, the extent to which this process has been taken in the world of man is beyond reason. The world is overpopulated. I will not make a difference whether I have kids or not, or if I die tomorrow.
Thus, I can't fulfill my original purpose for being. Thus, I have no meaning.
Allow me to take it a step further.
If the Earth is suddenly destroyed, through the means of one force or another, along with all of the known 'intelligent life' it holds: What would really happen? The rest of the universe will continue to expand and change without us. Our very being is an extremely small blip on the time frame of the universe, we're the only ones who disagree with that. We've made very, very little impact on things even close(ish) to us, let alone make a difference in the larger image of things. How can any self-centered ideal of meaningful purpose compete with everything else that makes up everything else?
Granted this entire opinion of mine is based on a few important(vulnerable)[/h] details. Such as the big bang theory. As an Atheist, I cannot totally speak on the subject of purpose from a religious standpoint. However, God does have a plan, after all. And he's supposed to destroy the world soon, so I think that also counts against anything you doing having meaning to it.
HOW'S THAT FOR AN OUT-OF-PLACE ANSWER

Well, if we die, the Universe as we know it will end too.
However, I feel that this is reducio ad absurdium. Whilst I agree with the sentiments, taking it to such a macro extreme merely highlights that NOTHING in the Universe is significant.

... NOTHING in the Universe is significant. in a way, I can agree, however I think that might be making the subject too black and white.
We have Black Holes sucking up unimaginable mass at a rate comparable to a Vietnamese whore(end racism here) which makes no speculated difference to a majority of space.
However, it destroying stars and planets makes much more of a difference than anything that we consider to be 'alive' does. And the question was directed to life itself.
We're too small to make a difference. A Merging Star System, on the other-hand, just might change things. Maybe not a lot, but certainly a lot more.
