Some middle eastern people in my neighborhood where happy about that and the one's i know at school even cut to watch the game but when india won they were disapointed.

Finally! Another Cricket Follower!
I was originally going for Australia - hoping they could maintain their long streak of World Cup victories, but they were in real poor shape... luckily England did horrible as well.
So after the Aussies were knocked out, I jumped boat to India. Most of my friends who are into cricket are Pakistan supporters, so they werent happy that India beat them in the semis and then they jumped ship to support Sri Lanka, who, despite having a good cup, werent able to beat India.
It was an overall disappointing World Cup, but thats only cause im an Aussie supporter. However *Ireland* (of all countries) were on the ball! Cant believe they trashed England :P and India deserved their win, so kudos to them :)

The final was really entertaining... Not like last ones where the Aussie's totally dominated :) ...
India chased down about 280 despite loosing sehwag and God aka Sachin Tendulkar early on.... so they were deserving winners..
Damm wish i was In India for the Wild celebrations.... But i heard the celebrations were equally loud when we wiped the floor with pakistan.. :)
