Indiana Jones 4!
Indy 4?

Just got back from the midnight release! As most people havent seen it yet I'm sure, I'm not gonna post any spoilers... I'm just gonna say I thought the concept was great, a little far fetched possibly, but really no more so then the Ark of the Covenant and Holy Grail stuff was. Harrison Ford rules once again, and Shia Labeouf was pretty good.
All around I thought it was a great continuation of the Indy series, however... I will say this... Fuck you George Lucas. Fuck you and your fucking "humor". Fuck you and your juvenile attempts to bring what to the movie? Lulz? You fuck up Star Wars, and you put a lot of unneeded crap in my Indy... Sigh.
Ah well, on the whole it was pretty sweet. Glad I went :D
I assume there are some more Indy fans here, so... Thoughts?

I haven't even seen it, but i voted for "FUCK GEORGE LUCAS"... because having hayden christiansonshitcock in star wars was the worst thing ever.

I'm planning on seeing it next Thursday. I'm not expecting a cinematic masterpiece, but I will probably enjoy it.
As for George Lucas, I think he just got carried away a bit with all the new technology.

Yeah, despite my gripes, I definitely recommend seeing it. Like I said I don't think it was Lucas' love of CG so much that brought it down, but rather his attempts at humor and amusing situations. I mean this is the guy that brought fart jokes and poodoo references to Star Wars... There's nothing that bad here, but there was an unneeded scene with some prairie dogs, a retarded tarzan bit involving monkeys, and a sword fight that was way to ridiculous even for Indy to name a few. Scenes I just think it would have been a lot better off without, and probably wouldn't be there if it were only Spielberg and Ford running the show.
Ah well, I'm done shitting it for now. I'll probably be going ot see it again anyway :D
And Rukia, please don't even use his name... I'd rather forget. Especially now that I can't even avoid him in Return of the Jedi  Sigh...

Because from what I've seen, Jedi Spirits look like the person at the age they died, not twenty-odd years ago! And we just saw Anakin's real face not even 10 minutes prior for crying out loud! I don't want to see Angst-in Skywalker in my Original Trilogy, I had quite enough in just two movies!

George put that in to portray the true Anakin Skywalker. It's because Anakin's soul died the day he went to the dark side. At least thats what I've thought since I saw it.

Yeah, I actually agree with York on that one... I like the idea in concept, and it makes sense, I just regret the fact that it required Hayden to pull off...And its kind of a bitch for Sebastian Shaw

That does sound like a reasonable explanation for it, but even that bugs me. IMO, I'd say Anakin redeemed his soul (at least in part) when he forfeited his own life in order to save his son's and end the Emperor's.

Good movie but Fuck GL for giving Indy a son, thats a Greaser and a Dropout.Well he never knew his dad, so who can blame him? He's not going to become a badass archaeologist or something, on his own. I thought the idea of landing Indy with a kid was awesome, and Mutt really wasn't too bad of a character. Now what will really cause me to say "fuck George Lucas" (not that I haven't enough already) is if he goes and decides to make Mutt a new Indy, and give him his own movies (I've heard rumors). That would suck...

Can you believe this movie is set to make $151 million dollars? It made $126 million Thursday thru Sunday, and it's expected to take $25 million on Memorial Day. I really liked the movie, and thought it was epic. But I didn't expect it to do this well! Old movie franchises ftw I guess.

I saw it and liked it. I'm not a big action fan and I've sporadically caught glimpses of the older films, so my opinion is not that of the grave and dour super-fan. But it's worth the $4.50 I spent to see it.
Now if only that lady who sat behind me would've just shut up!
