Insignificant things you like about yourself

Just for the sake of a pairing thread~ And yes the thread title IS self explanatory~

- I like my ability to listen and apply logic to almost any problem presented to me.
- I am sometimes too nice for my own good, but it often works out for the better~

And yeah thats about it~

• I'm a rational/logical thinker IRL, which can often help when giving advice to friends or strangers I meet while drunk. Been called "wise" in the past because of it.

• When I'm out with friends I'm one of the more outgoing people of the group, partly because I like to make people laugh. I've made quite a few friends of strangers thanks to that little "habit".

• I like my legs and eyebrows. My legs are the the strongest part of my body I think, and I've had compliments about my eyebrows in the past; usually accompanied by the question; "Do you pluck your eyebrows?". Their reaction when I tell them that I don't is awesome.

I don't think to highly of myself, but one thing I do like about myself is...
I've strived for the "polite gentlemen", I still have a way to go, but I like to believe I'm polite.

The ability to conjure insults out of everything. I have yet to lose an argument, flame/rage war, or pointless banter and face defeat.

Not to brag myself, but:

• I like to make some good things in my mind happen. (guts)

• I like to find another way of solving some problems.

• I listen to good music, which oftentimes does not involve modern pop music.

As for myself, I have an impeccable sense of rhythm and an rather adept at listening for bass in music. 8 years of classical musicianship did not go to waste.

I like the fact that I don't give in to peer pressure or social conformity (in other words doing something just because "everyone else is doing it").

I like it how I can be polite and nice to people I dont really like. Also I like myself because I have learned to like being alone (because about an year ago I couldnt stand being alone)

Edit: and yay Damoz, I knew someone would make a thread like this, and thats why I didnt bother to make one ;D

I like how I'm so incredibly modest- others can't even compare to my awesome humbleness.

Hrm.

• My Honesty. I simply do not lie to people. Some people find it abrasive or 'unkind', but I never go overboard or use inflammatory words. I just... don't say what isn't true, and say what is. It's also a double-edged sword; I am an AWFUL liar, and lack the inability to fake things.. even for someone's 'benefit'

• My brain, which is full of random facts which come in handy quite a bit in random situations. Anytime someone asks a question or wonders aloud about something, I usually have an answer or applicable knowledge. If they go 'oh, I learned something new..' I feel smart.

• My empathy. It takes a while to develop, but I really do feel for people. I'm a nurturer, and love to take care of people when they're sick or unhappy.

Personality-
With my good side, I tend to help and comfort others very well. I've gotten good at dealing with conflict because of it.
With my darker side, I'm very good at hiding my true intentions.

Physically-
I like my chest, arms, shoulders, and beard lol

I like my hair. A lot. I spend wayyy too much time on it, but it's a little routine that makes me feel happy.
I'm not especially outgoing, but for some reason people approach me a lot to talk and such. I don't know what the cause of that is, but it's totally welcome and cool as heck!
I'm a Professor, and I like to think that I'm good at it. I stay enthusiastic and try to have discussions with my class. I use as little text book as possible, too.

- I'm fairly rational on the outside (even when my mind is a mess I'm good at not showing it)
- I am also fairly good at whatever I do given I give it the least bit of effort (though it made me a procrastinator but I do enjoy living slowly)
- I can easily enjoy myself, it's always fun telling my bored friends to watch anime and read manga, and hear them say it's childish and then refuse to work and go all over facebook poking people like it's the most important thing in life
- I like that for a lazy guy, I am pretty fit and I even find it in me to work my abs in when I'm re-watching some good old anime (like Code Geass or S-cry-Ed or Nichijou and the like)
- I don't do things without having thought about it beforehand
- I like my room and my Totoro plush toy and my Shuusui, except the Shuusui isn't insignificant ~

-I'm a really practical person. If it's not worth it, don't do it, simple as that.
-I am quite a considerate person, taking others' feelings into account before I do anything. (which is why I get very annoyed at inconsiderate people.)
-I am open to suggestions and change, because I acknowledge that sometimes my ways/ideas are not the best.
-I've been told that I'm a good listener. (no, seriously, i swear.)

My weird sense of humor! In real life, I'm usually the one who is making other people laugh.

I give pretty good advice to those in need, even if I sometimes come across as "harsh" when doing so.

I'm curious. A lot of things fascinate me, so I'm bound to have an interesting life as long as I continue to maintain that need for exploration.

Despite a rough and overly logical surface, I'm actually quite kind-hearted. Especially towards those who are weaker then myself (other people and animals included), I usually want to do whatever I can to protect them. However, I'm not so kind-hearted that I let myself get taken advantage of. If someone is that weak, they can't truly help others. So, I've kept that in mind.

I'm a really good girlfriend, a good friend, and a good person.
