Well I've not found a reliable source, but a few people on one site say that the owners went over their bandwidth, and people on another site say that it got shut down because it subbed One Piece and was unlicensed to do so.

I've never heard of it. I found animeultima.tv and it's the only streaming website I use now.

I enjoyed instantz more than other sites since it just had a more organized feel to it. They'd upload streaming clips of the anime and torrent links, etc. I'm using gogoanime.com now, but the quality of the streams are... quite bluntly, shit.
And there are way too many shows out there that interest me to torrent each and every episode for each of them. I'll give animeultima.tv a look.
