iOS or Android

Which do you prefer? Do you have a specific reason?
I like my android phone over my ipod touch because well...my touch is a second generation so it's a lot older and my android is a lot better. And it can take an SD card. Oh, and my Android has fingerprint security. It's the coolest part of the phone.

Android...why you say?
Rooting, overclocking, undervolting, kernel tweaks, custom ROMs, MX Player (for animu). And instead of just one standard phone for the OS, there are many different phones that have Android, which allows a much broader range of people to be able to approach it.

iOS is more user-friendly initially but if you bother to learn the rooting side of Android, the possibilities are endless in terms of customisation.

WP7.5 ASSHATS
Joke's aside I need something simple and cheap that works when I need it to, and WP7 has taken care of all of that for me, without needing the flair and whatnot you guys all crave.
If I had to pick between iOS or android though, I'd go with android simply because they're so goddamn cheap and there's such a wide variety of them to play around with. iOS was alright but I'm not about to shell out hundreds for a phone that is touted to do so much when I just need something to call, text, and browse the web.

I'd love to know who the other two people that voted for iOS are. Maybe then I'd be able to make some friends in this subforum.
Funny you'd say that. Out of these 3 phones I own, guess which one is my least favourite?

If you guessed the one on the furtherest right, you would be correct. It's pretty much a toy compared to the other two. You mentioned "Surf the Web", but notice how that it's the only phone that couldn't even render my FAKKU profile with the right fonts?

I have the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S3. Their both just phones to me >.> However, I do like how the android is pretty much able to fully synchronize with Google. Like I can access all of my.. everything? Contacts, bookmarks, email, hell even apps. That's pretty much all a phone is right..? The iPhone has the ability to do the same but I don't think all of the previously listed came stock.
As far as customization.. iPhone can be customized just as much as the Android. Is that possible on a stock phone? No. Same to the Android (I'm basing this off of my only Android device, the GS3).
Since both phones are as far as software goes the same I can't vote for either. However I do like my GS3's massive screen although it takes some getting used to when I'm so used to using a small iPhone screen.

As the owner of Tab 10.1 and New Ipad, all the things i can say are...
Ipad:Cant play or dl gif file, complicated operating system, useless bluetooth(you cant transfer information with any other devide but only apple product),account requirement to install any app from app store.Actually the advantages of ipad when you compare it to galaxy is its screen resolution and camera are far better(2048 x 1536 pixel),5 MP(2592 x 1944 pixels) than Tab 10.1 (1280 x 800 pixel),3 MP(2048 x 1536 pixels).Without these Ipad kinda sucked though.
Tab 10.1:Need i talk more?

I've always had Android phones, I like everything from overclocking to underclocking and anything in between. But I have nothing against the iOS.

I prefer originality over all else even if that means 10,000 people have a different type of phone from another 10,000

I used to have a Nokia N8 which worked wonders for me back in the day. Too bad Symbian fell out of use these days. For now it's Android for me.
