iPhone 4 Steel Frame problem

I'm not sure if posting here is right, well inform me please if it's not.
I started searching the net for solutions and heard these guys say that I should use scotch brite + water to scrub the scratches of my phone's steel frame. I tried doing that and just saw a lot more scratches :( Any of you have suggestions how to fix this? Thanks for replies.

You can't get rid of scratches once its been done. You can always disguise it by putting one of those custom covers over them though.
