iPhone 4S HELP!
0
Ok, so im here in Hong Kong right now, and I plan to buy a 4S tomorrow, but my problem is, when i go back to the Philippines where im originally from, will my simcard still work? Or will i have to Jailbreak then Unlock the 4S for my PH simcard to work? Please i really need help on this before i buy the phone.
No worries on the micro sim, I have one, but the thingis im worried about the searching issues, will it be able to read my sun cellular simcard when i go back to the PH? Should i jailbreak then unlock it first so the sun cellular simcard can be used.
Please! anyone, help!

Based on my current knowledge about the iPhone, jailbreaking does absolutely NOTHING to help you use other telco sim crads. And from what I found out, if you want to buy the phone from there, it is sim locked and you must unlock it to use it in the Philippines which will cost you extra.

Along CHT said jailbreaking for iPhone 4S right now is NOT even possible according to dev team (something like that) only jailbreak able iDevice is all except 4S and iPad 2
And to tell you the truth iPhone 4s not really worth it. Only good thing about it is faster processor and better camera. IMO.

Unless somehow HK has managed to legalize locking of phones again, I doubt you'll need to. Only American iPhones have this problem

Jailbreaking does not make the phone unlocked to any carrier. Jailbreaking only allows you to install 3rd party apps.

Just a few more months for untethered now. And 64GB version rocks if you're an apple fan.

With the compressed files, it takes 6.95GB.
