Is it okay if your parents found out that you watch hentai ?

they caught me when i was 16 with hentai on a disk i just said that some idiot gave me it and told me they were spiderman pics i acted pissed off
but they didnt buy it so now whenever they see me watching anime they give me crap about it so i just watch it in my room on my own pc and they leave me alone.to my surprise they say they want to go to japan and if i want to go with them

my mom caught me once and wasnt too happy about it, all i said was:

"mom, the moment you find out i have stopped watching porn/hentai is the moment you really have to worry about me carrying our family's name"

Had a similar experience when I found a cd with Dads porn (just guessing could be my mothers) I also found one VCR movie in the attic once, but I haven't been busted yet, but I think that he suspects something because every time I'm on a visit the child control on the TV is on (or is it plain caution).

My parents may already know (kind of). I'm not going to ask them about it though.

In my family, we don't talk about sex. At all. My brother and I might mention to them that we have a girlfriend, and that's as much as we do. My brother and I don't even talk about sex stuff. I don't know about him, but it makes me very uncomfortable. The funny thing is, I don't have any problems talking about sex with anybody sex. Just my family. Just my close family, in fact. I could talk about sex with my cousins without any problem.

Anyways, a couple of years ago, I was getting ready to go to an anime convention, and I was making a cape that said "Hentai Man" (my perverted alter ego). My mom saw the cape, read it out loud, and didn't say anything. A normal person would ask, "What is 'hentai'?" Right? She didn't say anything, so I assume that either she already knew what it was (somehow) or she was planning to ask my brother what it was when I wasn't around (and he probably would tell her, too). She could have just not given a damn, but she's usually inquisitive, especially when it comes to anime, which has been my predominant hobby for many years.

I figure what I'll do is, I'll take it slow. The "Hentai Man" cape and shirts that say "I Love Hentai" and "Tentacle Sex" are the starter. Then posters of hot anime girls, skimpily dressed and all that. Then figurines of hot anime girls, maybe showing panties. Continue down that road, until eventually I can have porn on my bookshelf with my other DVDs, and they don't say anything or seem concerned at all. After all, I am an adult.

They will kill me :x

I assume that they know. I don't really hide my otaku-ness. I watch anime, play anime games, study Japanese, have a Saber pillow and anime with covers that have girls that are less then fully clothed. I've ordered anime that just by reading the back anyone would get the gist. They have never asked me about it. I know that my sisters know (well two for sure) and so do my friends. If they ever asked, do you watch porn and or hentai my response would be yes. I have always paid for my computers so there's no way they could ban me from my computer or other things.

It is hard to watch/read hentai here, since there are two kids who always run around, and i share rooms with my sister.. YES i do share rooms, we live in an apartment with only two rooms, so big bro shares room with his wife, and i with the kids and my little sis. So.. its really hard to watch/read hentai here, i have to DO IT when they are not home.

If they ever found out i watch/read hentai, my brother will say i have problems for watching/reading cartoon porn instead of real porn.
And my sister-in-law would think im a threat to the children that i might rape them or something.

I just dont wanna know, i nearly got caugh once and i weally dont wanna know what would happen, my father/mother are rather old game. :?

Haven't happened yet and I doubt it ever will. Only time I got caught was when I was younger, was real porn, and didn't know better, but it was by my sister. Awkward moment right there but she is more understanding than my parents. Since then, I have learned to hide my stuff.

I draw hentai and hang it on my wall, have hentai backgrounds for my comp, play guitar, get straight A's, and am a generally likable person. I think it's safe to assume my parents know, and don't give a fuck.

Both my mom and dad know I look at regular porn, hell I've bought Playboys when I was shopping with them. Hell my dad gave me a playboy for my 17th. The only confirmed person in my family that knows I do look at Hentai is my sister, who caught me when I as 14. But she kept her mouth shut because I found out that she had been fucking her boyfriend, I found a used condom wrapper in the laundry basket, one day before hand, and none of the clothes were my parents. I gave it back ot her and said next time make sure it's not that easy to find.


But if they were to see it, they would probably be like as long as it's not man on man, or DCP, we don't care.
