I usually don't say anything because it's usually just me up to a certain point, but after that point, I have to tell him because I'm insecure like that. >_<

Well I've never been romantically involved with anyone so I can't really say.
But I guess hypothetically speaking, jealousy is best dealt with an indirect approach, followed by a curious confrontation from your girlfriend/boyfriend.
Since it all depends on your partner's mood, seeing as how it can either become a, "Hey, it's so cute that you're getting jealous for me.", or "HEY! You can't tell me who I can or can not see.", it could go either way.
So yeah, I'd definitely make it so that I'd let them do what they want, go for a conservative look for jealousy on my face, and hope that she understands, seeing as she is my girlfriend and all.
