Someone has reported this thread, but looking through the replies, I see nothing wrong with it. However, I would again like to remind all users to remain on topic.
Getting back to the discussion, the place where I am located does not celebrate the 4th of July. It was just another normal Sunday for me, where I spent my time relaxing and not thinking about work.

This is way late but whatever:
I had a weird 4th. I couldn't really celebrate all by my lonesome so I just watched some animes. But the next day a lot of my neighbors came by (on a monday too) and were like "HAPPI FORLTH OHF JULY!" and I was like "Uh... thanks but it is the fifth...?". Apperantly, they wanted to wait till it was the fourth in the USA and threw me a fourth of july party. I felt so weird being the center of attention for a holiday that wasn't about me.
Anywho we had some really gross hotdogs and really nasty beer. Then we played with sparklers in the parking lot. I was happy my neighbors were so nice but also weirded out at that niceness at the sametime.
Edit:
Oh and I just realized this story makes no sense if I don't mention I'm staying in japan right now :p

I didn't do anything outside of what is a normal day for me, I'm afraid. I passed up a couple of opportunities to see some of the best fireworks around where I live, but I conveniently got lazy every time it was time to leave.
Sometimes I wish I did drink. Then again, Indiana is one of the few states that still have that old, bullshit no alcohol sales on Sunday garbage. Couldn't get any last minute stuff if I wanted. XD
