Kamen Rider OOO

Eiji Hino (portrayed by Shu Watanabe)[3] is a man who has no dreams, no job, and no family. After 800 years, the Greed awaken. The Greed are creatures who feed on the desires of humans in order to gain Medals (メダル, medaru?) and complete their body. A bird-type Greed, Ankh (アンク, Anku?), gives Eiji a belt and three Medals that enable him to become the predestined Multi King (複数の王, Fukusū no Ō?): Kamen Rider Ōzu (仮面ライダーオーズ, Kamen Raidā Ōzu?, [English Name Temporary]). Assisted by the mysterious Kogami Foundation that has ulterior motives, Eiji starts to realize what it means "to be alive"






Kamen Raidā Ōzu looks interesting. At least it's back to being just one KR. Funny thing about this KR is that his motorcycle turns into a vending machine.

Well again for me the colors are abit off to me,but I guess this rider will grow on me just like double lol.Reading from wikipedia he gain's powers from animal themed discs.
So I was thinking a faiz like name rider thats a potential amazon + double + hibiki fusion lol.

why can't they go back to basics and actually bring Kamen Rider back in to the darker tones. We've had nothing but pathetic children shows for years now. And this one looks like a pathetic combination of a shield, Decade and TheBee

like it or not,its still basically and is based to be a children show.Sure it can be more,but they arent going to lose their fan-base to satisfy a far lower number of fan-base and unknown whether it will bomb or not.

Just enjoy what they put out.

years ago they made Agito and Kuuga and it was a huge success. I realize how they are getting paid by Asahi's kiddy department because of how successful they are but they need to know that Kamen rider needs to grow up with the children they are marketed to. Not continue to be a timeless piece of merchandise that has been recycled till it finally gets defeated by Power Rangers.

that huge success was 10 years ago,and you seem to conveniently forget how successful KR Den-O is,he has like 8 movies and kids liken to momotaros to be the elmo of Japan.Double is emulating Den-O with its own theme.The only real change that they possible can do thats not to drastic is good story telling thats easy to follow.

That may be true but if they wanted to duplicate Den O so much why don't they just make a new Den O series and get over it. Surely making a Den O 2 series they can go back to why Kotaro is the new Den O and make 15000 different movies in the process.

KAmen Rider from Showa time is ALWAYS, I said Always targeted their Current fan base, not the growing children.. (Although Shin Kamen Rider gave them nightmares though)

hmm...all I got to say is..."watch first"...if the story is good..then watch it..if not..then leave it....

its kinda painful even though I am still enjoying kamen rider until now, there doesn't seem to have any sparks. Sure they can sell a few toys here and there in the process but what happened to the concentrated amount of epicness? What happened to riders relying on strength and wit and not some fancy weapon wrapped around your belt?

The only kamen rider series from the Showa era I saw got into was Kamen Rider Black, Kamen Rider Black RX, and Shin Kamen Rider. Couldn't get into the older ones because I can't relate to the 70's style.

As for Kamen Rider Ozu, I'll just give it a try. Maybe it'll be as exciting as Kabuto, who knows?

I recently started to watch Kamen Riders again,Decade was a joy ride, I doubt I would watch OOO though, he looks like a freak show.

rider kick is the representation of a rider's strength as their kick will always be stronger than their sword attacks.

This fancy weapon you are talking about is the rider's gimmick.They need to come up with a unique one to draw people to watch.So far the only rider whose"weapon wrapped around his belt" has been IXA,all the riders from faiz and hibiki.

As for wit,you already know thats not gonna happen much.Sure they be brilliant momemnts but most of the time its gonna be the same since its alot easier to produce brilliantly.

lol Jonoe,i didnt exactly like kabuto.I liked the rider,but not the user lol.Reminds me of Kusaka Masato from Faiz too much.

You know thagt even Kamen Riders HAS BEEN RELYING on some "fancy gimmick weapons"

and remember that ALl heisei Riders are HUMANS (well, some of them are orpenochs)

they need fancy waepons and gimmick moves to actually beat monsters.

while SHOWA Riders are basically enhanced Cyborgs, they don't need fancy weapons or Gimmick moves, they only need they're super human strength to punch a hole.

lol kiva is half fangire and hibiki is oni(not to sure about this one).

The gimmicks keeps things interesting and its nice that they change gimmicks for each rider,making each rider unique in their own way.

Not liking the one that the rider use as the main form. I prefer the insect form better than the one that he is using. The main form looks more like a sentai than a rider.

The bike however is amazing. Looks really good and changing into a vending machine is pretty creative. I wish I have a bike that can turns into a vending or a gachapon machine.

hearing the henshin sound the toy makes,makes me think twice about watching it.Just dont like it cause it sounds so.....power ranger ish?
