Legendary Creatures

Since bloodsuckers are ok I'll revert to my original creature of choice :

Wolfs are badass so an unstoppable killing machine combining wolf and human traits is pure win. I prefer to view them as very cunning and intelligent not as mindless and predatory. What's also fun is that they are often shown as a vamp's worst nightmare (daymare ?) like in the Vampire the Masquerade rpg and similar stuff. They also have the slight advantage of being less widespread these days.
I'll leave the phoenix in my 1st post if no one minds cause it's still 'cool'.

Does a werewolf apply ? Technically something of human origin and fairly 'small'.If not then I'd go with a Phoenix

Not something I'd like to keep as a pet though. Too much uncontrolled damage.
cool art work......

Although I like all the ones stated before, I'll add a little variety to this thread, although it is similar to a werewolf.
Fenrir, from Norse Mythology (shut up, he's a creature even though there is only one of him).

He is such a badass, he's as big as Jormungand, and spouts flame from his eyes and nostrils. To bind him the Norse gods have to get the strongest chains ever created around him, attach the ends to the strongest stone slab, anchor it deep into the ground, and stab a sword through his mouth. Even though all the things they used to bind him were the strongest ever created, at Ragnarok, Fenrir is eventually freed and swallows Odin(Head God).

Technically, Fenrir doesn't break free by himself, but is freed as a result of the "all chains shall be unbound" thing that happens.
And don't forget the fact that he's as big as Jormungand.

if i can have a dragon or griffin as a means of transportation i'd love that thinking bout the phoenix as a means of transport but i think it would burn my ass if i tried it
and having Cerberus or Fenrir as the guard dog wont be so bad
though id like to have a Koropokuru(is it considered a legendary creature!?)
