Let's Get: Fakku's Opinion! #2 - Sexual/Romantic Orientation
0
1. What is your sexual orientation?
Heterosexual with a bit of Pansexual, let me explain. I'll sex with anyone if I am sexual aroused enough, male, female, transsexual, shemale, or whatever but preference above all else is a woman. Woman is #1 on the list for sexual attraction in list of people I would have sex with.
2. What is your romantic orientation?
Pansexual, I believe that I can fall for anyone. No matter of sex, race, or gender.
3. Do you believe that sexual orientation and romantic orientation are the same? As in, do you believe someone who is bisexual will be biromantic, etc?
I believe they are two separate things. Sexual Orientation is what you want to do. It is talking about your preference of the person you would want to have sex with. Romantic Orientation is your preference for someone who you want to date, marry, and grow old with.
4. Do you believe in orientations other than hetero & homosexual?
Absolutely. Who wouldn't? That would be ignorant way of thinking.
5. Do you believe someone can be pansexual/asexual?
Yes. I met some before who was Asexual before.
6. If you could change your orientation, would you?
Best question in my opinion, I would say completely Pansexual. I would like to be completely free with my attraction, romantically and sexually, to anyone of any gender all the time.
7. Do you believe one's orientation is set from birth? Or that it can change?
I believe in both. I believe that for some it set from birth and no matter how hard they try they couldn't change it, but that's mostly for those who stuck with one sexual and romantic orientation and didn't care about changing it. But for some, if they have the strength, conviction, and willpower, I believe they can change it anything they want it to be.
8. What factors do you believe play a role in orientation? Genetics? Conditioning? Culture?
All 3, Genetics, Conditioning (How you were raised), and Culture. Genetics have a huge part to play since it's your completely makeup of you, the person. Conditioning helps when it shows that it's ok to be this and that when Culture shows you otherwise or says that you should be this and that's wrong.

2. What is your romantic orientation?
straight
3. Do you believe that sexual orientation and romantic orientation are the same?
As in, do you believe someone who is bisexual will be biromantic, etc?
Is there such thing as a platonic romance? I've yet to see one. Eventually in a relationship there is sex, it's human nature.
4. Do you believe in orientations other than hetero & homosexual?
Yes, pansexual and asexual
5. Do you believe someone can be pansexual/asexual?
Yes
6. If you could change your orientation, would you?
No, I've no desire to sleep with the same sex no matter how effeminate they are. Don't throw that 'homophobia' card either. I just don't find another man sexually
attractive
7. Do you believe one's orientation is set from birth? Or that it can change?
From personal experience with people I've been around, they said they've always been attracted to the same sex even when they were with the opposite for a brief time. As for a change, I think that some people will experiment and see if they like it or not. Will it change them permanently? Who am I to know?
8. What factors do you believe play a role in orientation? Genetics? Conditioning? Culture?
Cultural views will change one's mindset on sexuality but in the end some people will go for broke to get what the want one way or another.

Yes.
6. If you could change your orientation, would you?

No. I think it is just something that happens over time as the child grows up to find out what their interests are.
8. What factors do you believe play a role in orientation? Genetics? Conditioning? Culture?
A combination of them all. Genetics in a way that I am not knowledgeable enough to explain. Conditioning by our peers around us and what the culture says what should and shouldn't be occuring. To be frank when it comes to sexuality I wish there wasn't so much pressure to define yourself.
Hetero.

Heterosexual.
2. What is your romantic orientation?
Heterosexual.
3. Do you believe that sexual orientation and romantic orientation are the same? As in, do you believe someone who is bisexual will be biromantic, etc?
If what I am thinking is right then my answer is now. Because someone identifies as one sexual orientation (physical attraction, correct?)doesn't mean they'll develop romantic feelings just based on one sex. Think of traps?
4. Do you believe in orientations other than hetero & homosexual?
Yeah.
5. Do you believe someone can be pansexual/asexual?
Yeah, would be hard to find someone like that.
6. If you could change your orientation, would you?
No, I'm comfortable with my orientation.
7. Do you believe one's orientation is set from birth? Or that it can change?
I don't think anything is set from birth. People grow to like things as they live their life.
8. What factors do you believe play a role in orientation? Genetics? Conditioning? Culture?
Most likely family, culture, and relationships with other people affect what orientation they choose.
Heterosexual.
2. What is your romantic orientation?
Heterosexual.

Straight
2. What is your romantic orientation?
Straight
3. Do you believe that sexual orientation and romantic orientation are the same?
No. Romantic orientation is more important that sexual.
4. Do you believe in orientations other than hetero & homosexual?
Most definitely.
5. Do you believe someone can be pansexual/asexual?
Pansexual, yes. Asexual not so much. What would be their purpose then?
6. If you could change your orientation, would you?
I'm content therefore I'm happy.
7. Do you believe one's orientation is set from birth? Or that it can change?
No. I don't believe it is set from birth. Just like how you can teach a baby how to talk you can teach someone how to act and how to think. If you wanted a Boy/Girl to act like a Girl/Boy and be attracted Boys/Girls then you can teach them because they will think it is the norm. But you have to do it at a very early age of infancy.
8. What factors do you believe play a role in orientation? Genetics? Conditioning? Culture?
All three. But it mostly boils down to Conditioning and Culture. (In my opinion at least.)

1. What is your sexual orientation?
Female.
2. What is your romantic orientation?
Female.
3. Do you believe that sexual orientation and romantic orientation are the same? As in, do you believe someone who is bisexual will be biromantic, etc?
Yes.
4. Do you believe in orientations other than hetero & homosexual?
Yes, since there is such a thing as bestiality.
5. Do you believe someone can be pansexual/asexual?
By pansexual I'm interpreting that to mean romantic with anything. Yes, since there's such a thing as Waifus. Asexual, no. To my knowledge mammals don't reproduce by themselves - parthenogenesis aside.
6. If you could change your orientation, would you?
No.
7. Do you believe one's orientation is set from birth? Or that it can change?
One's orientation can change depending on the circumstances surrounding the individual. Hell, if I never met a female I would probably be homosexual. Also, don't some males fap to traps?
8. What factors do you believe play a role in orientation? Genetics? Conditioning? Culture?
Conditioning, culture, pheromones, etc. There's so many possibilities that can affect orientation that I can't fathom any single cause to determine one's orientation.
Female.

Bisexual(Took me a long time to admit this, but yeah)
2.What is your romantic orientation?
Right now probably hetero, but that could change
3. Do you believe that sexual orientation and romantic orientation are the same? As in, do you believe someone who is bisexual will be biromantic, etc?
I think they are related. Can't see how you could sustain a relationship if the thought of banging them repulses you.
4.Do you believe in orientations other than hetero & homosexual?
Being bisexual, yeah i do
5.Do you believe someone can be pansexual/asexual?
Yes
6.If you could change your orientation, would you?
To be honest, for a while i did. But i think i'm over that now
7. Do you believe one's orientation is set from birth? Or that it can change?
I do believe it is mostly a genetic thing
8. What factors do you believe play a role in orientation? Genetics? Conditioning? Culture?
Mostly genetics. I believe orientation is mostly a biological thing
Bisexual(Took me a long time to admit this, but yeah)

1. What is your sexual orientation?
Heterosexual
2. What is your romantic orientation?
If it can be applied here, Demiromantic because I have little to no interest in romance or relationships.
3. Do you believe that sexual orientation and romantic orientation are the same? As in, do you believe someone who is bisexual will be biromantic, etc?
I'd say that there is definite influence but it would be ignorant to claim that that is always the case
4. Do you believe in orientations other than hetero & homosexual?
Yeah, a lot of my friends are bi and one of them is asexual so I can't say I don't
5. Do you believe someone can be pansexual/asexual?
Yup
6. If you could change your orientation, would you?
I don't think so.
7. Do you believe one's orientation is set from birth? Or that it can change?
It's definitely not set from birth, although one can assume the hetero is the default but as you grow up you become influenced by what you see and hear and it can change, although I'd say it's much harder for an adult to change their orientation than a kid because ideas and opinions become much more rigid.
8. What factors do you believe play a role in orientation? Genetics? Conditioning? Culture?
As people have said, all three of those things contribute in some way or another, culture I think is the most important however as it has only been in the last 50 years or so that people even began to start accepting gays and other sexual orientations and with this change in culture came waves of people now raised to believe being gay is ok, and obviously in cultures that aren't advanced as the western world being gay is not acceptable and therefore you would not see it as frequently as you do in America and Western Europe.
Heterosexual

Sexually: Bisexual
Romantically: Straight
No, I don't think sexual/romantic orientation is the same.
I do believe in poly/pan/asexuality
I would not change my orientation.
Orientation is there from birth. But it can be triggered by experiences.
I think some bisexuals are shamed into being straight, and homosexuals could be shamed as well but it wouldnt be as easy to "just" be straight.
