Lets Talk About Penises
How do you feel about the size of your penis/SO's penis?

Here's a link to the documentary: My Penis and Everyone Else's
After many a random link jump, I stumbled across this interesting documentary about men and the impact that their penis size has on them as a whole.
The director has a 1 1/2 inch penis flaccid, around 3 inches erect.
He has gone on a journey in trying to cope with his own penis size and to get other men comfortable with talking to each other about their penis size. He also discusses some of the societal baggage that comes along with having a dangly.
I really wanted to share it with the F! community and I want to hear what you guys have to say about your perceptions of your penis or penis size in general. The documentary mentions that men are much more comfortable talking about it behind the anonimity of the online world.
I also extend the conversation to the women to hear their feelings about penises and penis size in general.
I can't vouch for the conversations or lack thereof that men have about their penises amongst themselves, but most guys I've spoken to don't really mind discussing it with me, even if they're a little shy.
But one thing I have noticed is their tone. After a little back and forth, they say.. "4ish....?" or "9ish...?". Regardless of the size, they are all waiting for my reaction. And I find that interesting, because whenever someone has asked for the size of my breasts, I've never worried. Whether I was pettanko or triple H, I think I'd be fine.
I would also say that it's true that girls gossip about penis size. My circle of friends is a bit more open to talking about sexuality, but in many girl's lives there comes the drunken night in which they all start talking dirty and their boyfriend's/husband's/one night stand's penis size may often drop into the conversation.
Anyway, lets hear what you think!
Also, I struggled with which forum to post this under, so please move it elsewhere if it seems more suitable.

I worry that my dick's not big enough. But my pubic bone does have alot of fat on it, which makes it look smaller.

Haven't watched it yet, but in response to the comparison between dick size and breast size- it's pretty much apples and oranges there, CC.
For coital purposes in the traditional sense- the penis is a must. It is directly involved. No way around it.
But- if for whatever reason- one were to desire to have intercourse whilst completely neglecting the breasts from the action. They can- and still be able to perform the sexing quite successfully.
Men worry about their dicks being inadequate because they watch too much porn- but the fact that the majority of women who care to share their preferences all agree that they like something a little meatier. They enjoy the sensation of fullness.
But yes- skill comes first and foremost. If it is a matter of pleasuring a woman- the dick can be damned when other methods can and oftentimes will do a better job.
So I think part of the reason why we're so obsessed with having bigger dicks is a desire for our own pleasure, actually.
We like the sensation of stuffing someone up.
Feels good, man. (Very likely a factor behind the anal, loli, and virgin fetishes- tight holes).

Anyway, give it a watch when you have a spare 30 minutes. From a females perspective, I thought it was really interesting to hear the director open up about his own thoughts and feelings, as well as the reactions of the men he approached about the topic.

When i whip it out a beam of light shines down on it and angels sing.
but seriously, i never had any complaints. i even had a female friend tell me that a GF was bragging to her about getting to have it*. i personally never thought it was that great, but i never thought it was small either.
*[size=10]apparently they were peeping on me taking a leak and she said something like, "see that? i get to have all that!". i'll have to call my friend and see if she remembers and can give a more accurate quote.[/h]

I guess it's alright, never heard a complain the first (and only) time about it. (although that doesn't mean I'm ok at all, right)

I used to feel that my dick was too small. Sure, an extra 1-2 inches wouldn't bother me, but if I had a pick of body modification, my shitty eyesight would be first.
I have no sexual experience, so I've never heard anyone else's opinion on the topic.
Penis size has a lot of visual appeal to me, and I'm a (mostly) heterosexual male. But that's just looks, which is no guarantee of performance.

The thing I worry about isn't that it won't please someone else (I've heard from many people it's quite wonderful, actually), but girth doesn't really matter when you don't have someone to use it on. My length is a bit lacking, so I guess that's why I dislike my size; having more length would be better when you're single, and girth would be better if you have an active sex life.

Mines a perfect size imo. Not too big and not to small but big enough to please them all.

I've never actually measured my size. I'd say I'm rather average.
As for whether or not I worry about that being enough to please my partner, if she is really bothered that much by my size then we've got a hurdle in our relationship that may not be possible to jump. There are many other ways to please people during sex, and if doing other said ways can't compensate for size then either you, or her, or perhaps both really need to re-examine your relationship.
That said, I do think the media has exacerbated the issue by making size more than it is. Generally speaking, the vaginal canal (distance between vaginal opening to the cervix) is about 5-6 inches when aroused, which is conveniently the average size of an erect penis. Of course both the length of the vaginal canal and the size of penis differs from person-to-person, but as a general rule of thumb, most men can satisfy most women.
On a goofy side note, extend your index finger and middle finger side-by-side, the greater the gap in length between the two, the smaller your penis is. I don't know why, but some studies swear by this, but as everyone should know, take scientific studies with a grain of salt. All of them. Still, damn funny.

Males may quite easily underestimate the size of their own penis relative to that of others, and many men who believe that their penis is of inadequate size have average-sized penises.I dunno, maybe I'm on the average side. I'm not feeling the urge to get an erection and put a ruler beside it.

Well...I've had some talks with certain people regarding this. Needless to say, after having those talks, I don't feel as insecure about my size anymore, even if I'm just a tad smaller than average. My only worry now is whether I'll have the skill to back it up.

Why don't people ever care about the reverse of the situation, and measure vagina sizes? Size matters there too, right?

I'm about 7 1/2 inches with a tiny downward curve when erect. I do get a kick out of my own dick I guess, so yes the size of it does make me happy but I think I like the fact that my volumes are pretty large too usually. When it really goes off, oh damn. I just hope I can find a girl that doesn't mind a huge mess... lol.
Now as someone with a slightly above average sized penis, I will say one annoyance with it is that when I watch porn and see a guy smaller than me, I can't stand it. I don't know if that's arrogant to say or anything but that's how I've felt for a long time. I'm totally straight but it's an aspect of porn I pay too much attention to perhaps and I just tend to stick with scenes that have the bigger guys, since it's more visually appealing to me seeing some young or small chicks take on some huge rods.

Well the amount of semen is greatly dependent on not only the person, but other factors to like: last time since ejaculation, level and duration of sexual stimulation, age, stress level, amount of testosterone, etc...
Like I said, I'm pretty average - a little more than five-and-a-half inches (Yes, I got curious after my initial post. So sue me :P), but the amount of semen I ejaculate seems like a lot compared other instances I have seen, especially considering that I often masturbate everyday. Then again, I'm not entirely sure what the average amount of semen in milliliters is exactly, and that does seem a bit hard to quantify when there are so many extenuating circumstances.
