levitation in dreams
0
when I was younger I used to have very realistic dreams where levitation commonly occured, nowadays on the other hand the flying element of my dreams kind of sucks, I guess my brain is just less creative due to adolescence or something along those lines. Some days ago I dreamt about some kind of clothing that gave me the ability to fly, the premise was good BUT the execution was rather bad in that my brain decided to make the flying sequence appear as a picture book (possibly because I barely remember the dream at this point).
Do you guys have flying sequences in your dreams and if so how "realistic" are they?

I've never had a flying dream before, all falling or jumping. There's probably some deep rooted physiological explanation for that but eh-whatever.
Sad I've always wanted the flying dream. Being in a floating bubble doesn't count, unless it's real.

I had some flying dreams in a dream scenario where I had to escape from something, the feeling was realistic as if I'm really hovering in the air as I look at the ground, iirc. There are other dreams where I fell down while flying and there's that sudden deep uneasy feeling in my heart.

i fly in about 1 out of every 7 dreams. a while back i taught myself how to go lucid(whenever i find myself in control i'd bite my tongue to see if it hurts, no pain=dream!) and ever since its all been about robot body parts, fighting, and sex. all of them are very realistic and very memorable(comes w/ being lucid). my advice is to try the tongue biting thing. every now and then bite your tongue a bit till you feel pain and when you have a moment of clarity in your dreams do the same, viola! give it a few collective weeks and you'll have that problem no more

well everybody's different. it took longer for some of my friends than it did to others. just gotta make the dream test into a habit and in those fleeting moments you are in control you might do it and realize its a dream. it'll take a good while before it becomes natural, but good things take time for results

Well they say that if you are falling in your dream you are actually in the progress of growing up into adolescence or just plain getting taller XD At the very least that's the story here in my part of the woods ^_^

Have you ever thought of becoming a chicken?Yes, but that was my manifestation of your father in your last dream.
