An LG model E2241, 22inch I've had for around 3 days decided to just go blank. My brother was watching a movie when the screen went black and the power light blinks continuously. I've tried pressing the power button, unplugging and all that does (unplugging) is allow it to work for about 30 seconds. Any suggestions?

It's probably having issues. If it's under warranty send it back to get fixed/replaced.
Edit: Since it's 3 days get it replaced by the retailer I would assume that they have some sort of replacement/warranty policy.

Thank you. After extensive research, long story short it's broken, and I'll return it tomorrow. Can't believe it broke already... must explain why it was on clearance...
