I moved into my new place and there is a problem, my fridge broke down and now I gotta save my money up for a new one. It's been close to a month and I realized money goes down the drain faster without a fridge. Buying food on the go has a negative impact on my health now ( Gained weight and became more lazy ).I have a passion for cooking and without a fridge I can't even buy the important resources to stock up, such as meat, fruits, milk and other important necessities.
Here is a question for all of you Fakku-ers.
*Note*
This is not a cooking related thread.

My kitchen is normally so cold I don't need to put things in the fridge the only things I have in the fridge are milk, cheese and a beverage I want to be extra cold. During the really cold times I don't use it at all cause every thing will just freeze.
You could just buy things as when you need them in small amounts.

One time my fridge went out but the freezer part still worked. That was a pain in the ass. If you planned to eat something, you had to plan it several hours beforehand to let it thaw out.
I could live without a fridge if I had to but like you said, it would be a pain in the ass and it would have an impact on your health.

I don't know about the us but in the uk there are some sites where people are just wanting to get rid of some thing and are giving it away for free or for a little bit of money.

However, most of that stuff will break down in a few months or don't work properly due to the constant use.

If you're too poor to buy a full sized fridge. Buy a cheap mini-fridge for some food storage. They're like 80 bucks or something.

Gosh, life can be fucked up without a fridge.
*Note*
Not poor, just unable to save money under my complicated circumstances.
Wish to know?
If yes, it will blow your mind.

Sure. I'm sure you'll expound on the topic regardless of my choice anyway.

Germany has a weird system with money.
Naw I wouldn't defend myself over what you just said, I have no job that pays well at the time.

So. it's not a complicated story and it was easily summed up in two words. You're poor. Gotcha.

I own two small fridges because they were on sale. I had a guy work the wires so they both work on a single outlet or something. I have no idea how he did it, and he may not have even done it, for all I know.
