weird,Im listening to New divide right now.
They're ok,but,Linkin park and DragonForce seem to be the favorite bands of most(sterotypical)13 year old boys.

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
While not anywhere near my genre, I didn't mind them, quite a few of their songs I liked and had on my Zune back when. but as soon as they did that rap mixup crap with Jay-Z, or who ever the hell it was, I immediately stopped paying any attention to them at all.

Good when they were underground. Now that they are mainstream they are complete and utter shit.Hybrid Theory, Hybrid Theory EP and Meteora were fantastic! Minutes To Midnight was a fail, but I loved their live shit and remixes too.
By the way... I'm a LP Fanatic [or I used to be at least].

Well put, i used to listen to them back when i was 15-16, five years in they aren't all that appealing anymore~ Mainly because I've moved into prog and also the music quality of LP has become utter rubbish

I agree with DarkStar...Hybrid Theory and Meteora are Awesome, Minutes to midnight, well...only a few songs...

i only get LP taste at "What I've Done" in Minutes to Midnight. As you said, this' a fail. Hope their next song will be better, just like New Divide.

Ima LP fanatic too, and I'll agree with Darkstar. Hybrid theory & EP, reanimation, and Meteroa were the best. Minutes To Midnight only has like 5 songs I like.

I just wished LP kept up their old style. Minutes to Midnight wasn't bad at all if you took it as it was, but it was such an uncharacteristic departure from their old stuff that people were like, "Wtf is shit?"
Bring back the techno, rap, and electronica, LP. We're still waiting.

Only liked Hybrid Theory.
But then again I was elementary school when this came out and hadn't listened to a lot of different types of music so I didnt really have a good foundation to criticize on.

I also stopped giving a crap after "Meteora." The Jay Z collaboration really killed it for me. I also tried listening to the new album, couldn't get passed the first 30 seconds of each of the tracks.

The Jay-Z Collab was the shit for me, 99 problems/one step closer, that was the best. They meshed together so well, they shoulda produced a legit song with that opportunity.

im pretty sure they sold out already ,, they really used to rock , they were pioneers of rock rap. i guess...

I agree that after Meteora they kinda sold out. Their older heavier sound kicked ass over the new stuff. It's sounds too nice. Hybrid Theory in my mind is a flawless collection of songs and to this day is one of the few CDs (yes I still buy CDs) that I can listen to without skipping a single track.

Hmm I remember the good old years of rebelling my parents, thinking i was "the shit" and rocking to Linkin Park.....HAHAHAHAAA!
