That's what I thought when I heard about it on the news last night. The thing is though that these are the new designer drugs that younger people are taking and they have major side effects. Here's an article that gives you a better explaination then I ever could.

"Bath salts" (Like every other synthetic stimulant) come with some of the most jacked up side effects ever.

Not only would it cost less, to legalize drugs, but they could actually reclaim their medicinal uses.
(Not to mention rehab rates would skyrocket, non-drug related crime would also drop, etc.)
