Looking for a good relatively cheap portable video player

I want a handheld to play my videos that I've downloaded. Most of the files are flv and I'd rather not have to convert them all to mp4. Thanx in advance for any leads you can give me.

Well, as long as your videos are below 720p, the Archos 41 will do quite well. It is a media player running Android 2.2, and It will decode most things you throw at it below that resolution in any format even in RMVB. You can buy it from Amazon here. The price is pretty reasonable.
If you want to play things 720p or above, open more complex containers such as MKV, or render softsubs, the only mobile device capable of decoding them is the Samsung Galaxy S II. The 1.2GHz Dual-Core Exynos + ARM Mali-400 MP is currently the only mobile chipset capable of doing such a tedious task, but I think it will be out of your budget range.
