Today I made to my whole family(3: me, sis & mom) Sirloin steak with natural orange juice. And this is what i did:. . .
I bought 1Kg of meat, and onion, 30 oranges (used 12), a lettuce, 1 tomato and 1 potatoe
Meat:
I pounded the meat so it gets tender, while leaving on the pan a lil bit of olive oil with medium fire level.
waited for the oil to start bubling and added the meat, waited for it to start sweating blood on the upper face of the meat to add a slash of water. Inmediatley after the slash I drained the jiuces on a small recipient.
After adding salt to the meat with a smaller slash of water I flipped over the meat and added some salt.
When the meat is done just turn off the fire and cover wit pan with something, so it doesn't get cold or dehydrate
Onion: Wash an onion take the skin out and slice it's half into small rings.
pour them in a pan with medium boiling oil. When the first face of the onion rings are done flip them over and add the juices from the meat from earlier and add a small splash of water. Wait till the onions are done to turn off the fire and we're done there
Poataoe: Cut a 1/4 slice for my family and 1/2 a slice for me. just put it on a pan with boiling oil. After being done I dried the oil with extra-absorbing napkins. (Too much oil bad for colesterol people)
Orange juice: Washed 12 oranges and sliced them in half and used the orange juice thingy to take the juice out of them while making sure the majority of the pulp would stay in the juice. There's nothing tastier than natural orange juice with its pulp :3. Added them to the 1L of sugared water (3 tea cups) and stirred thoroughly.
Served them up: Placed a slice of lettuce with 2 slices of tomatoe on a corner/ledge and added the onions with the sauce on the centre of the dish, now the sauce is a little strong so we don't want too much sauce, unless u like onion, then I added the meat on top so that it could absorb the sauce and be juicy at all time. Added the slice of potatoe according to the person. Addded the glass of orange juice aaaaaaaand DONE! (^.^)
I did the potatoe and meat @ the same time, the onion a little bit after the meat and the orange juice before all, followed with slicing the lettuce and tomatoe. You can try this if you like but if you're not goot at cooking I recomend doing each thing individually and later reheat them or do it really fast haha
Anyways this is the first post of my cooking blog. ENJOY! (^^)[/h]

ehem....Mom was in swimming class and I woke up alone :S
Royal Sanwich Baguette: Luckily there was a baguette in the stove and it wasn't that old so I sliced it horizontally in half added some slices of tomatoes, swiss cheese, lettuce, no mayo, I hate mayo, what little olives we had left and added 2 eggs, just let em drop on the pan and fried them without salt just margarine (I can't believe it's not butter), while carefully turning them over with the fork and the spatula, so they don't fracture.
After being done i just put them at each end of the bread and then added some bacon, turkey bacon that is.
Poured a glass of milk and DONE! :D
lemme eat! 1017h

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT BUTTER!?
seriously though sounds tasty :) i personally would have added mayo (I don't mind it). Keep up the good work, another recipe to add.
As for me I marinated some ribs (Honey smoke). Before that though i added salt, pepper, and chili powder (I love spicy). Anywho, let that thing cook. Came out very nice, with a lil kick from the chili powder.
An older post but a few days ago i whiped out the crock pot, added chili, potatoes, and carrots, for meat I put in chopped up chicken breast (hehe....breast... ^^') and let that cook for 8 hours. End result was delicious.

I made myself quesadillas (for those who don't know how it's pronounced is: que- as in Kevin; sa-as in saw; di- as in the letter "D"; llas - as in Jeff & "as")
took out 2 tortillas, put them on a comal (google it), waited for one side to be done and flipped it over sliced some cheese, white, poured them on the tortilla, waited for it to be melted and then put the other tortilla on top of it and flipped it. Waited for that to be done. And DONE! :D[/h]

I believe it would be better if you just posted things you made yourself. And not things that come in a box.
hey if you want the tortilla to be crispy then put a little butter on the Comal and then put the tortilla on with the cheese it gives the tortilla a butter flavor and more of a crunch.
I own a comal as well mine is oval shaped so it can fit on 2 burners.
thanx for the tips (: but here's the list of things I hate to eat: mayonaise, butter, eggplant and extra greasy things

well you can use vegetable oil and you don't use a lot to make it greasy you use less then a cap full and then spread it around with a paper towel. It won't taste butter or greasy.

Actually a great way to prep the comal is to melt a little butter on it and then lightly brush it with a paper towel. Leaves just enough to add a little flavor but not be greasy at all.
And traditionally it is (que - KAY, sa, dee, ah)

Today I made for dinner what I call:
Chicken roll: I bought some smashed chicken, carrots, tomato juice and "A.1. (meat sauce?)"
so I extended the mashed chicken like a square dish after mixing it with 3 teaspoons of tomato juice and one tablespoon of A.1. added some fried carrots and spinach on the centre. Rolled it up and put it in the oven @ 250 *F for like 30min
Meanwhile I bought some powdered mushroom sauce, just added some hot water til I found it's consistency to my liking and poured it on the roll before serving it to my mom and sis :3
and made some orange juice
DONE! 1415h[/h]

Fishcakes: grab some tuna, smashed potatoes (smashed by you), vegetables (optional) like carrot or leek, olive oil, eggs, [powered bread (?)] & some lettuce with tomatoes or tomatoe sauce
1) smash the potatoes and scramble the eggs in a bowl
2) if u bought fresh tuna smash it like the potatoes
if u bought it canned extract the liquid out of it
3) combine the tuna with the potatoes and make lil round-thick pieces of it, and the veggies if u like chopped in the cake or aside from it
Mix well.
4) dunk the cakes in the bowl with the scrambled eggs and let it drown just a few drops. Dunk em immediately in the bowl with the powdered bread
5) start heating the oil in a pan, once it's boiling put the cakes in it and let em ...fry, flip em once the side is fried to your liking
6) Serve and drop the tomatoe sauce on top of it or add the lettuce with the tomatoes to it :D
7) THE END
