Megas XLR

Not sure if many people remember let alone miss this show but yeah, this is Cartoon Network's Megas XLR. Created by the same people who created MTV's Downtown. It has the amazing Steve Blum as Jamie. As well as Wendee Lee, both from Cowboy Bebop. Also in the show itself they have Goat from Downtown working as the junkyard owner.

I'm waiting for this to hit dvd. One of my all time favorite shows. I was pissed when those bastards at Cartoon Network cancelled it.
My favorite episode from this series is "DMV: Dept. of Megas Violations."
Favorite part of that episode.
Coop's evil laugh makes this whole episode gold, aside from everything else he's always done that's already gold.

Coop always kinda reminded me of Jack Black lol. I love Jamie and his daydreams. Like the Thanksgiving episode, he daydreamed he was in the parade dressed as the Joker with two Harley Quinn's! And that episode where they went to the drive-in, he had a kinda hentai/tentacle daydream! "Oh, Jamie! Your tentacles are so long!~" lmao

The Thanksgiving one is hilarious especially the references. "Auggie The Adorable Ardvark" and "The Super Fabio Bros."
I died laughing when I first heard that. XD

I like it because it's one of the good things to be set in new jersey. Like Daniel Larusso, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Clerks.

One of my favorite shows. I was pissed, too, when it got canceled, but I've since come to understand it. It had already parodied so many things, and there wasn't that much left to do without repeating themselves.
I think my favorite episode was Bad Guy. It was like, God, the main character is the bad guy! It makes so much sense!

This show was actually green lighted for a third season before Cartoon Network came in and scrapped them.

This was definitely one of the better late era Toonami shows. I loved this show. And then this show got cancelled. Then Toonami died. Adult Swim is basically dead. Cartoon Network has fucked up big time.

I don't know but I think there is plenty of things left they can parody and just because they all ready parodied some thing doesn't mean they can't parody a different aspect of the same thing.
Thinking about the show though the main reason they don't do show like that is they avoid doing shows that would interest an older audience.
