Mustn't Run Away...
Well the holiday's are back so for me ,and a group of friends it means bringing out this old gem we happened to rent about 9 years ago(during a night out drinking)after seeing David Bowie on the cover ,and being under the impression that it was actually about Christmas . The story is as follows: In 1942 British soldier Jack Celliers comes to a japanese prison camp. The camp is run by Yonoi, who has a firm belief in discipline, honour and glory. In his view, the allied prisoners are cowards when they chose to surrender instead of commiting suicide. One of the prisoners, interpreter John Lawrence, tries to explain the japanese way of thinking, but is considered a traitor.
So with all that said I just wanted to know if anyone else had seen the film ,and if so what they thought of it. I also wanted to bring it to the attention of those who haven't seen it ,and recommend it as a fun little film to see.

I personally haven't watched this, but my brother have.
If I recall correctly, he told me that the storyline was overall okay, but not that good.
But the music was awesome.
Even the trance remix is amazing.

I was looking for the book a while ago but couldn't find it anywhere.
This is the kind of movie that makes you think a lot.
And yea, that particular song is just awesome.
