Something quick. Also I'm trying to improve my rendering and stop making all my coloring be so mushy and soft.

do wat I do and take ur time and ur coloring will be a lot better or even just the whole drawing would look greater but that's just me.

Well it's not a time issue, I usually spend at least an hour or so in just the sketching and usually and hour or two in coloring. My problem is that I'm afraid to use a harder brush, deeper colors, and using less brush strokes to achieve the desired effect while making my drawings less muddy looking from blending so much.

hmmm try and go against those and you might be surprised by the results with what you can do.. besides you learn and improve by trying new things and working outside of your comfort zone.
