Ok so here is the dilema, one of my hobbies is image hoarding. Be it epic wallpapers, #chan images, or porn I collect it. My phone seems to hate ne when I try downloading pictures. My android likes to scale down the size of images and lower the res of most jpg images, it happens often, if not all the time with jpgs. Other formats don't do it. Its annoying, if the res gets scaled down on something with text it becomes unreadable. I'm askiing if this is normal and are there anyways to avoid my images i download from losing res. And no, Im not saving thumbnails. I use dolphin browser for android, Im on it right now actually.

Are you viewing the images with the stock Gallery app? What phone are you using? Rom? You could try viewing the image using a different gallary app such as F-Stop, or simply see if the resolutions of the saved images match the original displayed in dolphin to see what's actually doing a scaling, if any.

Im using this "groove" model i bought from cricket, I know for sure that the image I DL is modified because the size of the file i dl is smaller then what it should be. Sometimes ill dl an image thats like 300kbits, then when i dl it its 50 kbits instead. I use many diff media viewers, thats not the problem.
