I've never had a problem with Gigabyte boards myself, in fact, one of their boards I bought in 2001 still operates without a hitch today. I would not recommend going with MSI however, they make great low-profile video cards, but I've only ever had bad experiences with their motherboards. One died two weeks after it's warranty expired. I'd recommend going with an ASUS model if I were you, almost every techie I know and work with recommend ASUS as a motherboard manufacturer.
