Glad no one was hurt. I thought it was pretty awesome that the cannonball went though all that. Really looking forward to finding out what myth they were testing.

Imagine telling that to your insurance company.
"Yeah, my house was attacked by a rogue cannonball. The MythBusters team had a mishap with the cannon they were using to fire it and it apparently shot straight through my house whilst myself and my family was asleep."
I can just imagine the person on the other end.
"Sir, have you consumed large amounts of alcohol or have used recreational drugs within the last 24 hours?"

"...the fact that MythBusters went so many years before anything like this occurred is a testament to the care and safety that they put into the execution of their experiments."
In contrast, the lab above mine, which works with pathogenic bacteria, has had several people get sick with what they believe to be their specimen over the course of the last semester. I must say, I don't have the greatest respect for their sterile procedure.

I know it's been said already but it's really pretty amazing how long it took for something like this to happen. I mean, they blow things up and shoot things at incredible speeds regularly. I'm glad nobody got hurt but they came awfully close.

Sucks for the that neighborhood to live near a MythBuster testing site. At least no one way hurt and that driver was lucky minutes before the cannon ball hit his car.

It's not disgusting in my mind, just kinda pathetic. And it certainly isn't a big enough deal to take that kind of drastic action.
Although, if I worked there, I would definitely want to change labs. Not because of the bacteria, but because of my peers.

I heard about this through twitter...I was very surprised that something like that happened when normally they're pretty good about taking pre caution with some of the things they've done. I'm just glad nobody was hurt in the process.
