Alright the season just kicked off last night. What did you guys think and who will be the contenders for this year.
So far Lakers beat the Rockets 112 to 110 which was a great game.
The heat looked out of sinc as they lost to the celtics 88 to 80 (GO SHAQ)
The Trail Blazer killed the suns.

I'm hoping the Heat just fail at not make the playoffs. Probably won't happen in that Eastern Conference, but I can hope.
And, I'll be Rooting for the Warriors. Hopefully, with a new coach, we'll actually play some defense and rebound while keeping our high tempo offense. I hope we can stay healthy too.... Lol. Go Warriors! Let's make the playoffs again!

*Laker Hater*That is all.
I was pulling for the Rockets just to let you know. I just have to say it was very entertaining. Yao need to do a lot more though. 8 points aren't going to cut it.

Post-LeBrocalypse Cavs beat the Celtics to open the season. Yes, Cleveland, it is possible to win without LeBron!

Well the Heat have turned it around nicely. 3-1 now and they don't even have to use there starters in the 4th. They are looking pretty unstoppable if everyone stays healthy.

This. Lakers all day. Even though I'm a Laker fan, I'll root for Magic>Boston>Miami anyday when the Playoffs begin in the east cause we all know Lakers going going back to the finals, just who their opponent will be is the question.

So a month and a half into the season with some surprises and some predictable things.
First of all, a big surprise. The New York Knicks. They're pretty good. They may be a solid 5th seed in the east, and whoever the 4th seed is will have their hands full. A few days ago the Knicks played the Celtics in what I think is the game of the year so far. Anyone here who saw it has to agree with me. Amare just a fraction of a second slow on his release, and they lost. The Knicks have lost 3 in a row since then. Let's hope they don't think they're better than they are and earn more respect. Maybe get Carmelo and become a legit contender.
The Spurs are actually leading in the west. Saying that the Lakers are going to win the west is so freakin premature. The Nuggets always play them well. Utah is legit, and is practically unbeatable at home. Dallas is really tough. Chandler is making them actually play defense. Manu is playing out of his mind. Game winners at least once a week. And the up and coming Oklahoma City Thunder. I guarantee you Durant will destroy Artest if they meet up again in the playoffs.
Lakers are getting Bynum back, so look for them to make a run.
There's one last thing I want to say: Anyone who thought the Cavs would be better off without Lebron, please stop. Please.
The Cavs were on a 8 game losing streak and just beat the Knicks, who were playing in consecutive days and were just punched in the mouth by Miami the previous night. Meanwhile, Lebron, Wade and Bosh are on a 12 (or is it 13?) game winning streak. So haters feel free to hate. Just don't say stupid things like the Cavs are better than the Heat.
And no, my team is the Spurs. Not Miami.
