New Year's Resolution
0
Gonna finally take the time to read my Japanese textbooks and start working on this language.
Been putting it off for the last 2 years. Fuck waiting for New Years, gonna start as soon as I sober up after Christmas. Well, at least a day or two after Christmas after settling down.
Tired of not being able to read, and waiting years for sublation groups to finish VN translations(not that I'm an ingrate, I'm eternally grateful for them all, but I waste so much time waiting when I can just learn to read and speak it myself)

To buckle down and do all 400 of my invitations. Fuck my life. The first 50 took 8 hours...

Not into all that. Bit of a dumb tradition if you ask me. Why wait until the end of the year to change yourself? Most people need a push to lift their ass, such rituals like new year resolutions
are the best example. I'm your opinion, but if it helps them then they should do so, although the relapse often comes soon;)
Isn't that precisely the reason why a lot of people fail at their New Year Resolutions? They are more excited about making a resolution than they are about making the actual change they want to see in their lives.
In order to change something you gotta be the change, no matter what time of the year it is and without these petty 'rituals'.

Well, my New Year's Resolution is to continue improving something I have been working on this whole past year - my financial situation.

1) Eat healthy: I'm gonna start by going on a 30 fast consisting of nothing but water. My brother introduced me to Dr. Sebi's health guideline website. According to a interview on the Rock show, Dr. Sebi was able to cure all kinds of illnesses including aids (it was all done back in the 1980's to this very day.). I'm skeptical about it, but on the other hand, when they took the guy to court, he won his case cause he was able to get 70 of his patients to testify that he did indeed cure their illnesses. I'll give this thing a try to see if I actually lose weight, I was using Soylent prior to this, but its not really meant to help you lose weight. its just an alternative for lazy people like me who don't like to cook. This seems like the real deal.
2) Save money: I plan on saving $100 a week. I'll open another bank account and put $50 of the money I'm saving there until I save up to $1000. Once I reach that goal, I'll go on a shopping spree and buy all the games and gadgets I can afford. The other half of the money I save will be used to purchase gold coins for investing.
3) Invest more time on my video game project / Be more organized in general: I've been slacking off on my video game project lately. I only work on it about once every two weeks. My overall video game addiction is mostly to blame. I dl'd an app to help me manage my time spent playing video games, watching videos, reading manga, etc.
