Not as bad as I thought it would taste

Did you ever eat food that you thought looked nasty or food you thought would taste nasty, to only find out it wasn't as bad as you thought?

I never had a corn dog before. It didn't look tasty to me. But I finally tried one today. It was actually quite good, I even ate a second one.

So does anyone else have a similar food experience they would like to share?

Delicious blood, Mommy said it was ok and I love blood of the innocent to this day.

Fried grasshoppers that my Spanish teacher gave us in 5th grade. They tasted like French fries, through it didn't help me learn shit in that class. Worthless onna.

It's called Dinuguan or Pork Blood Stew. It doesn't really look disgusting for me tho, lol. But I imagine it would be for some. It tastes good, I think.

I heard peanut butter and ketchup sandwiches are good, but i've never had the munchies bad enough to try(yet).

the crazy thing is I found quail eggs in my local grocery store!! I was like what the hell? who eats quail eggs?
