Notebook to LCD TV

Well, It's my first time picking an LCD TV for my room, and I really needed to know if there were going to be any issues with it being "32 and 720p (1366x768).
I really doubt there will be a problem with the resolutions or the Notebook (Core i3 @ 2.40ghz, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, Intel HD Graphics and the resolution is exactly the same)
I want to use it for watching movies, anime, manga and some gaming (like Left 4 Dead 2)
So, can someone reccomend me anything else, something I should be looking on the TV's (like some features!)
Thank you for your time and forgive me for not knowing much about this xDU.

like she said. Most tv has hdmi and vga plugs on it.. some do have dvi... if your laptop has hdmislot then a hdmi cord is needed.. vga you need the cord and a audio line 3.5mm to rca/ygb or 3.5mm jack for the audio.
