Planning to build my own PC before my laptop's motherbaord dying out. And so with all those youtube tutorials of how to build your own PC, i've been wondering which of these video graphics cards is the best A.T.I or Nvidia??? Cause i wan't my PC to be a working and gaming computer.

Both ATI and Nvidia make good cards, it's more a matter of preference (whether you're familiar with ATI or Nvidia's control panel) and budget (which is cheeper at the moment).
Check out Tom's hierarchy list before you ask your next question (which is the best videocard):
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html
The entries on the very top of the list are monstrous, so don't be discouraged if you can only afford (or you only want to) buy entries several rows lower.

I had some annoying problem with Nvidia VGAs so it's almost 3 years that i use only ATI graphic cards.
Anyway, as already said, its a matter of preference.

Spoiler:
I just checked out the link you gave me, and i think i found my video graphic card of choice~ :3
So i got Nvidia on my laptop, so i might try the A.T.I Graphics card. Thanks for the link Flaser~ :3

I've owned both. AMD cards of this generation are faster, especially at higher resolutions because of the memory bus on the cards being wider. They used to be slower, but AMD has optimized their drivers so that AMD wins in almost everything. AMD cards have simpler architecture that is more RISC-like, which means it has more GFLOPs than NVidia, if you care for using your graphics card for computing. I've never had problems with either NVidia or AMD drivers for cards in their high end range ($100+). NVidia has PhysX support, which means games that support only physx have realistic physics. AMD can do that too, it's just computing on the graphics card, but NVidia has partnerships to push physx instead. Either choice is fine, just look at the price you want to pay and decide on which card is fastest for the money (look on newegg, don't look at MSRP).

Enjoy your beautiful graphics, Crysis 3 is a visual masterpiece.

They are both decent companies. Nvidia is just a bit more expensive, though.
I use amd, mainly because it's cheaper for what you get, and because I had an fx5500 that was a massive pain in the ass... updated drivers didn't work, and it was just a piece of shit... It's a useless card. I think they did have driver issues at some stage, but not sure.
Either way, whatever you can afford, really.

Both NVIDIA and ATI/AMD make good GPUs, there isn't much difference on Windows. Read some reviews and benchmarks, buy whichever has the better price-performance ratio.
On Linux, however, I've gone through driver hell with ATI/AMD cards, right now my expectations are so low that I'm quite content if I can get any GUI working without tearing/stuttering (fglrx) or overheating (radeon). I'm not saying NVIDIA drivers are perfect - I ran into a couple of problems, but it's a 1:25 ratio compared to ATI/AMD.
If you're not planning to use Linux, I'd say it comes down to individual cards. Otherwise, I must recommend NVIDIA, even though they're more expensive compared to ATI/AMD (IIRC).

Around $100-$300 on most games the difference is so minimal that it doesn't even matter at all which one you go with.
Once you hit the price range of 680 vs 7970, 7970 wins out by a lot for price/performance ratio.
This is assuming that you are indeed overclocking, which you should be doing so anyway.

ati are now called AMD (AMD brought ATI and then changed the branding)
if you want cheap get a good AMD card (AMD beat NVidia for £ per performace in almost every tier) if you run into problems like on mirrors edge where if you have lots of glass flying around with PhysX on you take a major hit to the FPS then get something cheap like a gt220 and set up hybrid physx
