Original vs Acoustic

My question of the right now is, do you prefer to listen to the acoustic version of a song, or the original?
Examples:
Coheed and Cambria - Junesong Peovision
A Day to Remember - Homesick
When you "bought" a CD, Did you like one version of a song more then the other?

Well, depends on the song itself, actually. For example, I like the acoustic version for "Say Goodnight" by BFMV rather than it's original, but I like the original version "Tears Don't Fall" compared to its acoustic version.

OT: There are some songs that sound better when acoustic compared to the original version, and vice versa. There are some that sound just as good as the original as well, like this:

It is nice to have the acoustic version if you are a musician, so that you can play and sing along as in original rather than the cover (with respected talents that is).

I'm more of the acoustic type. The originals are sometime...well...the acoustic sounds way better.

I like both if they're done right. What I find weird is that I tend to hate electric versions of acoustic songs. It just doesn't translate as well most of the time.

I like that musicians make acoustic versions it shows range. I do enjoy both, but lately I am listening to more acoustic music. Most originals can translate to acoustic nicely, but acoustic to electronic most of the time seems sketchy (that maybe just be what I listen too).

It really depends on my mood. Sometimes I want to listen to calmer music. For example, I really like For a dead girl+ (Yuyoyuppe) but I personally don't like the acoustic version. However, Songs like Silent Neighbor Acoustic (CROW'SCLAW) and Leader Acoustic[/i] (CROW'SCLAW) I enjoy the acoustic versions. Silent Neighbor has nice piano and Leader Acoustic is still a lively song but with a different sound.
