Reset your CMOS. There should be a jumper that you short to reset it. Most of the time it's located near the battery on the lower half of the mobo. Otherwise, you can just unplug the battery for about 10 seconds. Be sure to cut the power to the pc as well when reseting.

Not much info to go on but my guess is either your memory is faulty or it doesn't match the cpu/motherboard clocks.

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
Seems like your motherboard has an auto-overclock of some kind. Take a look around the BIOS, and check if you can find a setting that does that.

First it would help if you could post what system you are actually running.
Because people will just be making random stabs in the dark trying to help you.
Another suggestion is to hit up your manual as that should explain pretty much everything.

I had a computer yell at me this same thing through the speakers when I had the RAM in the wrong slots. I had to look up the proper configuration in the motherboard manual and try again to get it to work.
But you mentioned unplugging a battery so I can only assume you have a laptop and this may not apply unless you messed with the RAM recently. My guess is what Kind of Important suggested and you should poke around the BIOS for an overclock setting and just set it to standard or something.
