Pick up lines in Anime conventions!

Conventions are a good place to make friends anything beyond friends not a good idea in my book. (Unless you are looking for a one night stand kind of deal) This issue is mainly dealing with the fact that you both are probably from two very different locations which would result in a long distance thing. Example: I go to Anime Expo and San Diego Comic Con every year where I spend my time mostly with strangers/friends I came with/or myself and I am from Palmdale in the Antelope Valley. (Most people's reactions to telling them where I am from result in a o.o? since most of them don't even know where the AV is.)
