Pizza on the grill
0
Well, for the first time in my life, I've had pizza that was cooked on the grill.
It was MINDBLOWING.
I honestly don't think that I'll ever cook pizza in the oven again. I recommend it.
For discussions sake, have you ever tried a beloved food in a new way?

A grill is basically a oven that has the boiler on bottom. Grill pizza with fresh made cheese and cure meats is the best. In the summer here we made everything on the grill from meatloaf to cake. Made twice baked potatos in a corn husks and banana leafs.

Never had grilled pizza, only oven baked. How exactly was it "mindblowing?"
The dough was lite, really crispy, and the toppings weren't all bogged down by juices and stuff.

Never tried pizza on a grill, sounds interesting though. We have a home-made pizza oven in the garden which we regularly use.
On things prepared in a different way, I can only think of a mug brownie - which you can make in 5 mins with a mug, the ingredients and a microwave.

OT: I've cooked things in halogen ovens before.
Meat comes out really juicy when you use them. Can never seem to cook it right in a normal oven.

Cool beans There are no cool beans.
I'll try it out. I have six pizzas in my freezer.

I've tried this with home made pizzas before.
Cook dough on both sides first, then add sauce and toppings.

MMmmmmm yeah.
I think we even have a special pizza pan at home that attaches to the grill body so you get that brick-oven like quality to the crust.
Gotta try that sometime...
