Popularity of Yaoi

I think I've seen a topic like this, but couldn't search for it, so sorry in advance to mods. Anyway, I always noticed that "yaoi" has it's own special sections on hentai/anime websites, is it that popular, because I'd assume something more like Yuri (assuming mostly guys look at hentai) would stand out, or are more people ok with both? Personally, I'm indifferent towards Yuri and yaoi I avoid, but bring on the loli,cats,futa, traps and everything in between!

There certainly does seem to have been a massive surge of yaoi in recent times.

I don't look at it, so I'm rather indifferent to it.

With the exception of certain traps. I can never tell. (DAMMIT, Jun.)

I like traps, which is the yaoi i like... even though i float my boat in both waters, i like feminine boys and hardcore bitches.

Male and dislike yaoi.

50-50 for Yuri because i prefer normal straight.

Massive difference when it comes to Traps and yaoi but they are on the same boat.

Also, Futanari doesn't count as yaoi.. If anything it's yuri.

I'm a guy and I like Yaoi, but I thoroughly understand I'm in the minority.

We've had this discussion before, which pretty much outright said Yaoi will never be on Fakku because Jacob doesn't want it, so at this point I don't even like to bring it up period because I don't particularly feel that discussion was held with much tact on either side.

Anyway, it's a niche that a lot of hentai sites include, but at the same time try to seclude it from where other hentai materials might be because a vast majority of hentai users dislike it.

Also, whenever people talk about Yaoi.

That reminds me of Fakku's april fool jokes this year.

I'm a girl and I like Yaoi. I used to dislike Yaoi until I watched Kuroshitsuji. Sebastian and Ciel are just too cute. ARGH~ >.> They're the only Yaoi pair I like.

They are my favorite lol.

And yeah I like yaoi too. =P But that's sort of obvious around here I guess. Love shota, love shota traps and Ciel is perfect for that and Sebastian is just the biggest hottie around.

You see, I found that hilarious. I wouldn't fap to yaoi, but it doesn't bother me; it's more amusing than outright vile, perhaps for how some people react to it. I don't know if that's a worse stance. :p

I enjoy yaoi from time to time, but I definitely love yuri more nowadays.

the majority of yaoi makes me wana puke, with the small exception of a few traps that confuse the hell outa me.

Traps is a must, but then there are titles with a certain shounen/seinen style that really catch my attention.

I'm male, and I like some kind of yaoi. Crossdressing and girly boy sex is ok, but two muscle-head macho all over each other is no-no.

Really now. It is not that I dislike it. It is kinda like disturbing for me. Well I think the same goes for the women who dislike yuri.
