Post, yeah, hair finally growing to a comfortable length.

Plenty... but we packed in a TON of sightseeing and work! I went with my college for an accredited course in my major, art history, so that's the only reason my parents helped to pay for it.

Yep! I like weird shirts like that... got that one on the trip.

I've been developing that interest as well these days. Though I don't have many. I'm always keeping an eye out though.

What are you exactly there for?
Just sight-seeing or do you actually go over the Art movements that happened in Italy?

We studied the art history of the republic, imperial eras, and Renaissance... in a lot of depth! As a major in that field, it was a real dream come true for me; I also took a course on Roman art in the spring, so it was like meeting celebrities I'd read about when I got there and finally saw the art!
It was really a lot of fun, but a lot of work... packed days of touring and on-site lectures from 8am to late in the evening, often! But so worth it.

Sounds like a trip similar to the one my friend had last year.
Any particular places that stood out?

Really loved Sorrento and Pompeii, but Rome itself has so much just everywhere in the city: you really can't go more than a mile without hitting some sort of ruin or monument!
