How long is your hair? Judging from your picture, your hair is way too long to use gel. You'd probably have to use wax, and from experience, I can say its not worth the time, effort, or price.

But it started out bright and I let it gradually fade during the trip. That's why its more toned down in the last one.

My hair is a similar color currently, though. Thinking of going red soon.
