I mean fan translations or not, it's not like anyone's paying for all of this manga material we're viewing for free. It's not exactly a good idea plastering your face all over a site like this. Even if there's not a big chance of getting nailed for anything you never know if some agency is going to take your face and put a flag in your permanent government file saying to watch you for piracy activities and crap.

Most of what you just said is paranoia talking. If what you say is true, the website would've been pulled down by now and the owner wouldn't be so open about his identity. Nor would most users who post images of themselves in this thread. The only times Fakku ever gets blocked is for its pornographic content, and that's only in certain countries which frown on porn.

It's rare for individual users to get targeted unless they're the ones providing the pirated content. It's easier and much cheaper to tackle the problem by the source.
